When Jiyong is there for you on a stormy night

Lightning flashed and thunder clapped loudly, so loud it shook the window panes. You cried out, hiding your head under the blanket you had taken refuge under. The power went out about 10 minuets ago as the storm outside raged on, and your boyfriend was no where to be found. He was working late, as usual, and you were home alone during the storm. Storms always scared you, ever since you were a child.

"Oppa come home please." You whined, holding the blanket tighter in your trembling fists. Since the power was out, you couldn't get any phone calls from the land line, and your cell phone was dead. Leave it to you to forget to charge it during a storm. Another flash of lightning illuminated your apartment, causing you to cry out in terror.

"Jagiya?!" You heard a cry out in the dark. Jiyong was home, finally.

"Ji oppa?!?!" You screamed. "Help me I'm scared!"

"Where are you, Jagiya?!"

"In the living room!" You cried, trying to see the front door in the darkness of your living room, but it was way too dark.

You heard a crash and Jiyong curse. You held in a laugh. "What did you trip over? Are you okay?"

"Your damn end table." Jiyong said. You felt the couch shift under his weight and you quickly dove into him. His arms wrapped around you on instinct. You yelped as lightning struck close to your apartment, and the thunder shook the whole building. Jiyong's arms went tighter around you. "Don't worry I'm here." he whispered.

"I was afraid you were going to be at the office all night." You said softly, nuzzling your head into Jiyong's chest.

"The storm got pretty bad so YG sent us all home. By the time I got around this area the power was out, and dangerous to drive. I had to get here but I drove slow, so I made sure I got here." Jiyong explained, gently rubbing your shoulder.

You nodded. "I don't have any candles either. Gosh I am so unprepared for this...."

Jiyong chuckled. "Its fine, it happens. We'll just make sure to get you some tomorrow."

You nodded and sighed. You were beginning to relax when lightning and thunder crashed again. You cried out, clinging to Jiyong. That took you off guard.

"Don't be afraid, Jagiya." Jiyong whispered in your ear. "I'm here to protect you. I'll make sure nothing hurts you alright?" He then started singing If you in your ear. That made you feel better. As you cuddled with Jiyong and as he sang to you, it made you feel much better. Before you knew it the storm was over, and you were beginning to nod off in Jiyong's arms.

"Are you feeling better, jagi?" Jiyong asked, gently rubbing your arms.

You nod, slowly sitting up. "Yeah....a lot better."

All of a sudden, all of the lights in your apartment flicked on, causing you both to jump. You kissed Jiyong on the lips and hugged him tightly. After tonight, storms didn't seem so scary anymore, not with your boyfriend by your side.
