Chapter 4

*A few years later*

Samantha's POV

I finally fully controlled and understood my powers. I learned I could become invisible, create a force field, make copies of myself, read and control minds and thoughts and I learned how to become water, earth, air and fire. I became really close with Steve again and found out he has a best friend called Bucky. I also became part of the army. They gladly accepted me and more importantly my powers. I currently am an agent/soldier and have an actual friend who is a girl. Her name is Peggy. Peggy and I are really close. Mostly because we share a room being the only girls on the army base. Peggy actually wanted to be friends because of me and not my powers. She would never ask me to show my powers unless it was necessary. Like in battles or when a guy tries to hit on us and thinks we are weak. I would slightly burn their hand if they would shake it. Most of the guys on the army base already knew that hitting on us is practically asking for problems. But the new recruits would always try. After that they immediately knew their place. I always had fun with Peggy. She was my best and only friend. Well except for Steve and Bucky. And one day I was totally shocked. The day I saw that Steve had joined the army. When I saw Peggy punching some guy (who now probably knows his place) I came on the terrain. They immediately got in place and I said this to them. "I am not one to be messed with." "Why not doll-face?" One of the soldiers said with a smirk in his face. "Because of this-" I said and I lit my hand on fire. "Know your place and your hand won't get burned off. Understood?" I asked them. "Yes ma'am." They said in unison. "Good now-" I suddenly stopped talking while I realized that there was a little guy in between the soldiers. I recognized him immediately and said "You." I pointed at Steve "Who are you?" "Rogers ma'am." "Rogers come with me." The other soldiers stood there and looked very confused although they didn't have much time to be because Peggy ordered them to do push-ups. About 50 meters from the other soldiers I turned around and hugged Steve tightly. "I've missed you Steve." I said. "I've missed you too Sammy." He said very happy. "Why did you act like you didn't know me back there?" Steve asked me confused. "I couldn't let them know that I know you. Then everyone would think I will be helping you with everything." "I knew it wasn't because of something stupid." He said. "Why would be because of something stupid?" I asked him. "Well sometimes you do something stupid and I didn't want it to happen again." He said with those eyes where you can drown in. I guess I stared at his eyes for quite a while because Peggy came to us. "Rogers you have to train with the soldiers now." She said with her leader voice. "Yes ma'am." he said and he gave me one last smile before jogging of to the other soldiers. "So is this the famous Steve Rogers?" Peggy asked. "Yes he is." I said still looking at Steve. "Well I don't exactly get why they let him in the army." She said. "Yeah it's a bit weird. He isn't exactly the strongest or the fastest. And he doesn't have any powers like me." I said. "How do you know he doesn't have powers?" Peggy asked slightly confused. "I can sense if someone has powers. It's one of my own powers." I said with a little smile. Peggy was used to me telling her about my powers. She even has a list of every power I have. She took out the paper and studied it. Apparently I haven't mentioned it before because she wrote it down. After she was done with writing I took the paper from her. I read the list and smiled a little.

I chuckled at the last words. That's typically Peggy. She took the paper back from me within two seconds. "I already read everything on it. Add this to your list for today: I can read immesnly fast and I can watch through things." I said while running faster than a single sound. "And I can also run very fast and yell extremely loud!" I yelled and then I ran back to her. Peggy was very busy writing everything down on the paper. I laughed a little and told her to hold on. "What are we going to do now?" Peggy said while holding me tightly. I used my air powers to fly us up to the clouds. I made the perfect cloud to sit on for us. It was about as big as a single bed. I learned how to use more powers at once. Peggy and I sat there for a while just chatting before the sun started setting. "I think we should go back down." I said to Peggy and she just nodded. She held onto me while got back to the ground. Peggy and I walked to the kitchen and I grabbed and apple while Peggy took a pear. We walked back to our room which was quite big for two people. I guess they gave me and Peggy a bigger room because of our status... Or because they're scared of me. Either way it's good for us. I decided I would go to Steve. And because I had a high status I knew where every single soldier was. I can remember everything I have ever seen or heard since my 15th birthday. I quickly went to Steve's sleeping area and came in. I saw that Dr. Erskine was also there. I wonder why he's here? When I walked up to Steve his eyes lit up when he saw me and he smiled. Dr. Erskine also flashed a smile at me but I quickly looked back at Steve again. "So how are you doing Steve?" I asked him with a big smile. "Well a lot better since I've seen you." He said with a smile and blushing slightly. "So Dr. waht makes you come here?" I asked turning my attention to him. "Well I came here to talk with Steven about the project." He said with a little smile. "The Super Soldier project?" I asked him. He nodded his head. "So are you gonna do it?" I asked Steve. "Yes I am." He said. I smiled at him. "Be carefull okay?" I asked him. "Of course Sammy." He said and gave me a tight hug. I hugged him back and never wanted to let go. After a little chat Dr. Erskine and I left and I went back to my room. Peggy was already asleep. I quietly put on my pyjamas and got into bed.

*The day of the experiment*

When Steve walked in I couldn't believe this could be the last time I would see him. But I was confident in Dr. Erskin's serum. I looked at him and he flashed me a nervous smile. Steve went to lie down in the capsule. Peggy came into the room and sat down next to me. She smiled confidently at me.

At 80% Steve began to scream. Peggy ran out of the room. "Shut it down!" She yelled. "Shut it down!" Mr. Stark almost stopped the machine. "No! No I can do this!" Steve yelled. Mr. Stark wnt on with giving the machine more power. "90%... That's 100%!" Mr. Stark yelled. A few moments after the machines around the capsule began to spark. I ran toward it and Steve came out with muscles and being a lot taller. "How do you feel?" I asked him. "I feel taller." He replied calmly. "You look taller." Peggy said to him while handing over a shirt. Suddenly the room we were just in exploded. Some guy shot Dr. Erskine, grabbed the one vital that was left and ran away with it. I shot him in the arm and Steve moved to Erskine. Dr. Erskine pointed at Steve and he ran outside after the guy. Peggy ran after Steve and I ran after her. When we were outside Peggy and I shot at the driver of the car the guy was in and one of us hit him. The guy came out of the car and I shot at him again. I got his arm but he just went to the cab and drove away with it. Peggy and I shot at the guy. Peggy was in the middle of the road and I was on the sidewalk. When the car was very close to Peggy Steve pushed her out of the way. "I had him!" Peggy yelled. "Sorry!" Steve yelled back while running after the cab. I flew after them leaving Peggy behind. I watched up with Steve and he accidentally ran into a shop window. He got up and ran again. I was still flying after the cab. The cab stopped at some point and fell over. Steve took one of the doors as a shield. And I used a forcefield. The guy took a little boy and took him away. Steve followed and almost got shot. I slowly followed with Steve. Steve walked around the corner and saw the guy. He had a gun pointed at the boy's head. "Don't." Steve warned. The guy pointed the gun at Steve. I quickly made a forcefield around him but the gun was out of bullets. So instead he threw the boy in the water. Steve ran to the water. "Go I can handle this!" I yelled at him and he ran after the guy. I pulled the water up and also the boy in it I put him on the ground and put the water back. I quickly used my powers to take all the water off of him. "So now you're all nice and clean again." I said with a smile on my face. "Now go back to your parents and be safe okay?" He nodded and ran away. Steve came back all wet and with a confused look on his face. "Okay let's get this water off of you." I said and I once again used my powers to take away the water. He still had a confused look on his face. We went back to where I left Peggy. Steve held onto my waist and we flew back.
