Samantha's POV
The three weeks I was in the West house went way too fast. I had so much fun that I didn't want to go away. But I had to. I had school and a job. And Steve of course. I still thought about the three guys who like me. I thought about it all day every day. Peter and I had finished the history assignment even before I went to Central City. It was done in three days. That was slow for me but I had to let Peter do some work too.
I was now at science at school. I sat at a table with Peter since he was my only friend at school. "You are going to do a science assignment with the person on your table." The teacher said. Mr. Tanner. I didn't really like him. He liked to interrogate the kids about stuff they didn't have to learn yet. I always stood up for them for example: He once asked a kid some question and I said the answer while looking at my nails very boredly. He would always shoot me daggers but I never thought anything of it. I mean he can't do me any harm. Back to reality. Peter and I smirked at each other. You see Peter is a genius in science. So we high-fived each other and looked at the others who were all groaning or cheering. "Seems like we will be working together again." Peter whispered not audible for the human ear. "Seems like it." I whisper just loud enough for him to hear. "Alright you can start talking about the subjects I have written on the board." Mr. Tanner said. I looked them over in a second and knew wich one I wanted. "Are you going to read the subjects miss Grace?" Mr. T. asked. "Already done that for about five times." I said while looking him straight in the eyes. "Alright. Tell me the subjects without looking at the board." He says. I kept looking him in the eyes while I said the subjects. "Genetic crossing of species, The possibility of creating new elements, The strongest and lightest metal on Earth and The existence of other worlds with population." I say calmly not stuttering once. Mr. Tanner looked shocked and just went to sit at his desk. "I want to see you after class miss Grace." He said before turning to his computer. I turned to Peter and he was grinning wildly at me. "I really like it when you do that." He says and I smile back at him. "He deserves it. He is being a total ass-hole." I say with a shrug. "Let's look over those subjects again." He says. He looks them over again and looks back at me. "Wich one do you want?" He asks me. "Well the easiest for me are: The strongest and lightest metal on Earth and The existence of other worlds with population. Obviously we can't do the latter one because we can't just talk about Asgard." I say. "The strongest and lightest metal on Earth it is. What is that even?" He asks. I chuckle slightly. "I can't tell you here. Maybe someone's eavesdropping." I say while not even looking around. "I know you are listening Tina!" I say while pointing a finger at the girl. Her face turns bright red and she quickly looks down. Peter chuckles and I smile at him. "Told you." I say and smile wider at his answer. "Never doubted you." He smiled wider too and for the rest of the lesson we just talk about things.
When the lesson is over I walk to Mr. Tanner's desk waiting for him to speak. "How did you remember what I had written on the board so quickly?" He asks. I didn't expect this question but I still answered him with so much casualness, it's just weird. "I have a photographic memory. Basically everything I have ever seen or heard will always be in my mind." I reply. And it was true. I wasn't lying to him. I just left out some details. "How do you always get amazing grades? You have never failed a thing and I bet you never will." He says. "Well I'm a very hard worker and I'm not the dumbest." I answer. "And besides with my photographic memory I will remember everything I have ever learned." I end the sentence. "Alright. You can go now." He says. "Yes, sir." I say and he looks slightly shocked at my politeness.
I walk towards the cafeteria and look for Peter. I see he is getting beat up by a group of... 20 people?! Those 20 people are going to regret the day they became bullies. I walked over and started kicking their asses. In about a minute they were all heavily beat up and I helped Peter stand. "You okay?" I ask him. "Just peachy." He says and groans. "Right. Stupid question. I'll take you to the nurse." I say. That was our code for telling that I was going to bring him to the nurse make her go away and take care of the wounds myself.
