The next morning, a whisper awoke me and I stayed still in hopes of catching what they were saying. "How cute. They fell asleep together, what if they're mates? Zaek wouldn't normally be this affectionate to anyone..." A shrill, girly voice whispered to another person.

"I don't know, she sure is gorgeous for a 7 year old but something about her kinda creeps me out." A male voice responded.

"Shh! you're going to wake them, Des."

"Looks like the girl is already awake." 

My eyes widened and I threw the covers off, trying not to wake Zaek.

"U-uhm.."

In front of me stood a blonde girl with green eyes and pale skin, she looked to be about 16.

"Awh, how cute! She's shy. My name is Fran and that dweeb over there is Destry." Fran exclaimed happily.

I looked at the ground, "I'm Radiance."

"What a pretty name, I wish my name was that pretty. Is it okay if I call you Rad?" She asked me, and I nodded.

"So, you gonna stay here long..?" Destry asked, he looked exactly like Fran, minus the eyes. He had blue instead of green.

"No, I want to go back to Daddy." 

"Awh, but we want to be friends with you. You're so adorable!" Fran giggled and picked me up. "Come on, we can take a bath together."

"Ew, child molester." Destry called out as Fran walked me to a room that appeared to be a bathroom.

"Pfft, go find a girlfriend, loser." Fran yelled back and laughed at his angry face.

She smiled at me and turned on the tap to the big bathtub. "I'm kidding, big girls don't take baths together, but I do think you need a bubble bath before you go see Daddy, okay?"

I nodded, that makes sense. Though, this family sure is weird. I kind of liked it though, Its lonely back home and I never made friends like this before.

 "Oh my... you're a werewolf." Fran said, and I tipped my head.

"Huh?" The water was filled with vaniella scented bubbles and Fran smiled knowingly while I stripped my clothes off and jumped into the hot water.

"Rad, you're very special. Not just a wolf but a cat too, thats funny." Fran giggled.

"Daddy said I was human though.." I frowned, I also thought that you could only be one wereanimal.

"Sometimes, Daddies lie so that they can protect their children."

I stayed silent, Daddy... lied to me, but why? I... am not human.. is that why no human child would want to play with me? Is something wrong with me?

I looked up at Fran as she washed my hair with some smelly stuff, "How did you know..?"

She smiled before responding, "I have the best nose in the family and you smell like both of wolf and cat. My family couldn't figure it out because your Daddy hid it so well from strangers."

I rested my chin on my knees and stayed quiet, not sure how to take in this information.

"Hey, what do you think of Zaek?"

I thought about it and said, "He's stupid."

Fran stopped and burst out laughing, "You really are special."
