After a few days of living with the Laine's for awhile, I got worried when Daddy didn't show. I asked Jyke but he said that Daddy said it'd be okay if I stayed here for a while longer.

I don't know if that's true but the Laine's have been very nice and i've made lots and lots of friends. Daddy will be so proud of me and hopefully give me a cookie!

He only gives me a cookie when I'm extra good.

"Radi ! It's time to go to the forest." Yelled Naira, Jykes wife.

I giggled and scrambled out of the room, Zaek racing after me laughing. I've never had friends before and although it's scary it doesn't feel weird.

Zaek is... I don't know but he is my bestest friend in the whole wide world! The world IS a pretty big place. I heard it never ends!

Of course Zaek could just be making that up.

I looked back and saw him catching up to me, so I sped down the stairs and out the back door. The scent of fresh, uncut grass hit my nose like a slap.

I smiled and took off, running past Jyke, Naira, Fran and the other kids. I just ran and ran, I wasn't too sure where but I just kept running as if my legs knew something I did not.

I stopped and realized there was a cliff with a bench. I looked around, my eyes widened at how beautiful it looked.

I gathered my hair into a braid and sat down beside some purple flowers, animals scurrying past me.

It was like a scene from a movie.

"Beautiful.." I whispered, my voice caught by the breathtaking view.

"You mean you?" A voice said in a light tone, I turned around already knowing it was Zaek. I blushed and threw a nearby rock at him.

"Hey, this is my place. Go away!' I muttered while looking at the ground.

Zaek laughed and plucked a purple flower, I gasped.

"Why did you do that? The poor thing is dead now !" I stared at Zaek.

He frowned before responding, "I plucked it so that it can  be treasured by you." Placing it in my braid.

I was speechless, I'm going to get boy cooties for sure.

I saw her race across the grass and weeds, heading straight for a place only I knew. How did she know where it is? I'm positive I never took her there, it must be her instincts.

I followed in pursuit, careful not to let her notice. Even from here, I could smell the strawberry scent that entangled her.

She was perfect, even my wolf agreed. Something didn't feel right though, I could tell she was my mate but my wolf did not.

With her silvery blonde hair, flowing down her back. Blue eyes that turned purpleish silver with the slightest mood change with soft , pale skin.

Beautiful, My wolf growled. I smirked and ignored him.

I saw her sitting by a patch of pretty flowers, though, they could not outstand Radi's beauty.

"Beautiful.." She whispered, her voice sounding strangled by the view.

"You mean you?" I sighed, in a light tone, she turned around and stared at me. Radi blushed and chucked a rock at me, I laughed and ducked.

"Hey, this is my place. Go away!' She muttered while looking at the ground.

I laughed and plucked a purple flower, thinking about how pretty it would look in her braid. I placed it in her hair and my breath caught in my throat.

She looked like an elfen princess. She gasped.

"Why did you do that? The poor thing is dead now !" She cried and stared at me.

I frowned before responding, "I plucked it so that it can  be treasured by you." 

Radiance did not say anything after that, it was quiet and I liked it that way.

After a few hours of just laying and staring at the sky, Dad called us for dinner. I got up and put my hand out for her to grab.

She glared at me, ignoring my hand.

I rolled my eyes, what a drama queen. She giggled and took off, I growled in frustration and chased her.

The wind blew her hair out of the braid and I smelt the strawberries, I smiled and sighed happily.

She turned around, laughing, she ran faster.

Radiance really was radiant.
