Even as I stand on the mat listening to the announcer inform us of the next challenge I still have a smile on my face.

"Top eight dojos, welcome to our final group event"

"What's got you so happy?" Tory whispers to me.

"Can't I just be happy?" I whisper back.

"Over the course of the tournament you have each proven yourselves worthy of your place at the top of the leaderboard and after today, only the best of the best will gain entry into our tournament of champions"

"At least one of us is happy then," Tory says.

I go to ask what's wrong but my mother interrupts me, "Be quiet girls" she says, glaring at the both of us.

"We'll talk later" I whisper to Tory then turn to face the announcer.

"Now here are the rules for the first round. Each team will face three opponents, determined by random draw, in an all dojo tag team competition" the announcer says, his voice booming through the arena.

"Two fighters inside the ring, one from each dojo at a time. The other ten fighters remain outside the circle, waiting to be tagged in by their teammate. Fighting will be continuous, no stoppages and no timeouts, first dojo to score three points win".

I sigh, shifting on my heels, adrenaline pumping through me as me and the rest of Cobra Kai get into the circle with another dojo.

I turn and my eyes lock with Kwon's, who's standing across from me, a small smile making its way onto his face.

I smile back, then my eyes focus on Tory makes her way into the circle as well as a member of the opposing dojo.

I watch intently as Tory fights the girl, the girl punching and Tory blocking.

Anyone watching could tell Tory wasn't focused, making me worry about what was upsetting her.

"Tory tag me in" I call, sticking out my hand for her.

Tory looks to her side and sees me, our eyes locking then she nods, running over to me and tapping my hand.

I nod to her, my eyes on my opponent as I walk into the circle.

The girl smirks, looking me up and down then looking at her friends as if I was a joke.

I get into my fighting stance as the girl jumps at me.

I block her punches and kicks, anger filling me as she claps her hands at me as if I'm a child.

I jump forwards, kicking her back with my foot but it doesn't count as a point since she blocked it.

I clap at her mockingly, letting her run to me then I dodge her punches, ducking and throwing my own punches.

The girl blocked them but I jumped back and spun, landing my foot hardly into her chest, sending her stumbling back.

"Point! Cobra Kai 0-1" the referee yells.

I smirk, walking backwards as my next opponent comes into the circle.

I jump forwards, throwing my fists towards the girl, her annoyingly blocking them.

I quickly shift backwards, pivoting on my foot and as she runs at me I move to the side, the girl running past me and I punch her hard in the back, sending her toppling over.
