The plane had landed and we were almost out of the airport when Michael stopped and pulled me with him to another hall.

"Listen, we have to take the back exit. Our uber is already there, waiting for us. I don't know if the paps will be there, but if they are, just look down and quickly walk to the uber." He said, his serious side taking over.

"Paps." I murmered. It all sounded so scary. What if fans see the photos and think I'm his girlfriend? What if they hate me?

"Are you coming?" Michael was already ten feet ahead, standing next to a green door with an exit sign above it. I walked up to him and nodded. "Go."

He opened the door and got greeted by a lot of flashes that blinded my sight. I felt someone grab my arm and when I looked up I saw an enormous, bald man. He was dressed all black and tried to drag me forward to the uber. A bodyguard.

Michael grabbed my other arm and opened the door with his free hand. The car was like a normal taxi, only the seats were leather black and there were drinks in a minifridge.

Still blinded by all the flashes - apparently they still did not have enough picture of me and Michael together - we sat down and closed the doors quickly.

The stupid thing about this all was, is that I got it. Before I met Michael, I'd spend hours on Tumblr, looking at pictures of the boys at airports, walking out of the hotel, sneaking at backdoors. They would make me fangirl - I liked those pictures.

But now that I've experienced all this, and it weren't even that many phootographers, I knew why they always had a straight face in those photos. While I was enjoying my little dose of 5sos everyday, they were annoyed, bothered.

We were seated in the uber now, on our way to the villa where we would be staying for the next months. I blinked a couple times, still seeing the white lights in my eyes.

"I'm sorry you had to go trough that. They can be pretty harsh sometimes." Michael apologized but it wasn't even his fault.

"Mike, it's not even your fault! Don't say sorry!" I said, "It's okay, really. I just hope they don't think that I'm your girlfriend. The fandom will hate me."

"We're just gonna tweet something about it if they get mad. Don't worry so much. We brought you here to have fun!" He said and his smile could not grow wider. "You know, it must be really weird to hear, but I'm really happy we found you. It feels like I now have a sister and it's pretty damn cool." He said, still looking at me. His comment made me feel warm inside. It's weird how feelings for someone can change so fast. I would get butterflies in my stomach if I saw only a picture of him two weeks ago. Now he's like a big brother to me.

"I can trust you, right?" Michael said, interrupting my thoughts.

"Depends, I'll probably eat the last cookie and blame it on Luke, if that's what you mean."

"No, that's not what I mean." He snickered, "Thanks for the warning though."

"But what did you want to tell me?" I sat up straight and looked into his eyes. He needed to know that I can have serious conversations too.

He grabbed his phone from his back pocket and pressed the 'home' button. It lighted up and on the background of his home screen was a picture of him and a beautiful girl, standing hand in hand on the beach.

"She's beautiful, Michael. Is she your girlfriend?" I smiled at him. I was genuinely happy for him. His happiness was to be seen in his eyes. His facial expression changed when he looked at the photo. He relaxed.

"Yes. Her name is Shannon. We met last year. She was standing in the front row at one of our concerts. She was really annoying - she threw her bra at me, did extremely sexy and inappropriate dance moves and literally tried to climb on stage. But it was kinda cute how dedicated she was, so I invited her backstage." He smirked as he thought back of it.

"That's literally what every fan dreams of." I smiled.

"Oh, you could know." He winked at me. I felt my cheeks burn up. Damn it Michael.

The uber stopped in front of a very expensive-looking villa, that was located on one of the small hills in Los Angeles. It was huge. I turned around and I could look all over the city. It was already evening, and the darkness slowly took LA over, leaving thousands of lights sparkle in the valley.

"It's so pretty, Michael!" I gasped an he nodded.

"Let's go inside!" He shouted excited, while the driver took our suitcases out of the car and brought them to the front door.

We thanked the driver and Michael opened the door. It was completely dark inside, like no one was home. Maybe they were out drinking?

We walked into the dark living room. Someone had been too lazy to clean, so he had shoved staples of trash behind the couch. Typical 5sos.

Light was coming from another room, the kitchen, as Michael said, and we dropped our bags onto the ground and walked into the kitchen.

"WELCOME, JULIA!" Three boys shouted in unison as we walked in. Luke threw some confetti in the air and Ashton had a big balloon in his hand. The kitchen was full of balloons and on the kitchen counter stood a very good looking chocolate cake with my name on it.

"Oh my god!" My mouth fell open in astonishment. They all pulled me in a big grouphug.

"Welcome home."

It was true. This immediately felt right.
