"We're gonna go get some food at maccas, are sure you'll survive here alone?" Ash asked, as they were all putting in their shoes.

"Yeah, I guess. Bring me some chicken nuggets, please!" I shouted, while running upstairs. I had already discovered most of the house, but there were some rooms I hadn't seen yet. Now that the boys were gone, I had enough time to sneak around and look in every little corner.

I walked down the hallway our rooms were in and instinctually went to Calum's door, next to mine, which now also had a name sign on it.

Should I go in? I mean, it'd kinda be invading his privacy. But my curious, Calum-Girl side took over and I slowly opened his door.

My eyes grew wide in astonishment. Instead of the fuckboy room I expected it to be, with posters of half-naked women, condom wrappers on the nightstand, dirty clothes on the floor and white bedsheets, I saw a room, with white walls, some of their records framed on the wall, family photos on his little desk, a bookshelf with the books sorted alphabetically. And may I add, everything was extremely clean. But the biggest surprise of it all was the black grand piano in the corner. Since when does Calum like classical music?

I sat down on the stool behind the piano and slid my fingers over the keys. I've always loved playing piano. How your fingers always get lost and go faster than your mind. Being able to turn something wild into something classical. Ofcourse, I love metal and punk, but sometimes you need to calm down.

Without thinking, I just started playing. A song I learned two years ago, Terrible Things by Mayday Parade. My fingers touched the keys without any thought. My mouth opened. I started singing.

By the time I was your age,

I'd give everything

To fall in love truly,

Was all I could think.

That's when I met your mother,

The girl of my dreams.

The most beautiful woman

That I've ever seen.

That's when Calum stormed in. I almost fell off of the stool.

"What the fuck are you doing in my room?" His voice was raspy and loud, the typical 'mad' voice. I didn't say anything; I just slowly stood up and backed off to the door.

"I'm sorry." Was what I whispered and quickly tried to open the door, to just leave this awkward situation. But he stopped me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me back in. I thought he was gonna hit me, or kick me, or call me some very ugly names. To my surprise, he didn't. Calum wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"Calum, are you alright?" I asked him, holding onto his torso that was shaking like Taylor Swift.

"No, I'm not." His voice was soft and shaky, too. I felt a tear roll over his cheek onto mine. I sighed. "You'll be alright though." Calum didn't want to talk about everything right now, he just needed a hug. So that's what I gave him. A long ass hug.
