I don't know about the rituals much as I belong to a punjabi family. I tried collecting information from internet but I got confused. Some of the articles showed that there is varmala ritual in rajput wedding and some refused. I went through some wedding videos of Royal rajputs and they were performing so not getting any satisfactory result I decided to write what comes in my mind. I very much like the banter at the time of varmala so I added a glimpse of it in the chapter as well.
I am sorry if anyone find anything wrong in the rituals because everything is inspired from what I saw in videos or I read on internet.
Please I don't want any hate.... positive criticism is welcomed.

Maharani came forward and ward of evil eyes from me by curling her hands around me then to sides of her head. Women giggled around her and she held the chunni with her both hands while spreading it she touched it to my chest in criss cross pattern. And then she did my aarti very lovingly. She applied tilak to me and then offered me prasad. I did everything perfectly because I am perfectly trained by my mahroo.
She then looked at me with hesitant gaze.
All the women giggled and one of the elderly women said," What happen bhabhisa, why are you not welcoming your jawaisa in?"
I can sense there is something more than just a welcome because they all were looking so exited and were giggling too much.
Another women spoke and maharani just smiled a little unsure looking at me.
Maharani then hesitantly forwarded her hand and I stood there confused. She then slightly touched my nose with her thumb and finger and said," Welcome jawaisa"
"Areyyy ese kese?" Kanika shouted loudly. We all looked at her and she said in shrill voice," Hamari maasa ke jawai ko andar late hue to badi jor se naak khichwai thi aapne or ab apne jawai ki baari aayi to itna prem umad aaya? Bohot galat baat hai mami sa"
