All I Wanted (Zach Mitchell)

I sat on my motorcycle in the middle of Owen and Barry, taking deep breaths. With a gun strapped to my back, and some adrenaline from when Zach kissed me on my cheek, I was ready to go.

I saw the guy who fell in the paddock earlier press the button and the raptors ran off. They had thermal camera's strapped to them, so InGen could document what happens.

We speed off after them, me and Owen somehow get in-front of them. We were leading a pack of fricking raptors!

 I look over at Owen as he looks over at me, and I give him a bright smile. He half smiles back, then looks forward.

They slow down, and Owen call's out they have found something.

They eventually stop, and we climb off our vehicles. 

We set up behind a log, guns pointed at the rustling at the trees.

The indominus comes out, letting out a roar. 

I waited for the Raptors to attack, but they never did.

They start screeching and clicking at eachother? 

"They're communicating," I finally say.

"I know why they didn't tell us what that thing is made of," Owen mutters.

My eyes flick over to him, then back to the indominus.

"That thing is part Raptor," Owen says, just as they turn to look at me and Owen.

Things became chaos, and the raptors attack people left to right.

"Hadley, get out of here!" Owen screams.

"I'm not leaving yo-" I start to say, but get cut off as I get tackled by a Raptor and dragged off by my ankle.

I scream at the top of my lungs, trying to get away. I claw at the grass, trying to pull my foot away.

I was soon let go, and the Raptor trots in front of me so I can get a view of them.

"Echo?" I whisper, tears streaming down my face. I soon notice the camera had fallen off.

She purrs, nudging her head against mine. "You just wanted me out of the chaos, huh?"

I ask, and she purrs even louder. 

"I have to go Echo, get back to Owen and Claire," I say, standing up.

She snorts, as if she doesn't approve. "I'll be okay, I love you," I say as I kiss her snout, and running the way I was dragged. 

I eventually found my bike and saw everyone gone. Including Owen. I mumble a few swear words, and take off hoping to find a road somewhere.

"Owen, you better be alive you idiot," I whisper.

I was following a path in the trees, the road next to it. I was driving for a bit until I saw a van with a motorcycle and two raptors following. 

I speed up, hitting a bump so I fly on the road. 

My ankle was killing me, and my head was bleeding. Also, the cut on my chest opened up again.But I gotta fight though this.

I eventually catch up, passing the raptors. Owen sped up on the side of the van.

 I look and see the doors open with Zach and Gray inside.

I saw Zach with his head in his hands, shoulders shaking.

"Hadley!" Gray screams, tears on his cheeks. Zach's head whips up, his eyes red and puffy.

"Hadley!" He screams, reaching out to me. I smile painfully, and wave.

This was going to be a long night.

We arrive at the lab, and I hop off my motorcycle to be tackled in a hug.

"I-I thought you were dead," Zach sobs into my shoulder. 

"Well, I'm not," I say with a giggle, looking into his tear filled chocolate eyes.

He stares at me, and I stare right back. I examine his face, taking in every detail.

He started moving his head closer to mine, eyes flashing down to my lips. Then I hear Owen yell out.

"Come on! In here!" I take Zach's hand and bolt towards the doors.

We enter to see the lab completely vacant. I hold Zach's hand, squeezing it slightly.

"They evacuated the lab," Claire whispers.

We look around, seeing animals in tanks.

Two men walk in, and start putting things in a crate. "Hey, what are you doing?" Claire asks.

"I'm afraid that's above your paygrade honey," Hoskins says as he enters, tape over his black and blue nose.

I look up at Zach to see him smirking. He looks down at me and I just wink at him, turning our attention back to Hoskins.

He was talking, but I wasn't even paying attention. Then, Gray pipes up, looking at the map of the Indominus.

"That's not a real dinosaur," Hoskins chuckles.

"No, kid it's not," 

Owen pushes me, Gray, Zach and Claire behind him protectively.

"Imagine, a fraction of that size on the field! Able to hide from the mos-" He was cut off by Delta jumping through the glass wall, cornering Hoskins.

I felt Zach's hand tighten around mine, but I give him a look of reassurance.

"E-Easy boy! We..We're on the same side, right?" Hoskins asks, slowly raising his hand to Delta.

Bad idea.

Delta bites down on his arm and attacks him, blood going everywhere.

"Go, go!" Owen yells, pushing us out the door. 

We start down the hallway, and Blue jumps through the wall and blocks the way.

"Other way!" Claire yells, and we start running for the innovation doors with Delta on our tail.

We run into the lobby, and I hit a button so a dinosaur hologram pops up and distracts her.

We run down the steps just to be stopped by Blue. Delta breaks through, and Echo appears.

I push where Gray and Zach were in the middle of me, Owen, and Claire. I was facing Echo.

I stared at her, and she stared back, observing Zach's hand holding mine. 

I look over and see Owen reaching to take Blue's camera off. She barely nods, and I look back at Echo who nods at me.

We had our raptors back.
