After Brennen

Chapter 2

As I get up to check the time, I see a pickup truck pull into my driveway. I walk over to the door to let him in and see Brennen in a suit and tie with a single rose in hand. I am shocked by his appearance and he says, "Did you honestly think that our first date would be at chipotle?" We both laugh and he scans me up and down and says, "Even though those jeans and that shirt look amazing on you, they just don't suit the restaurant we are going to tonight. I nod and proceed inside. I invite him in and take him over to the living room and he sits on the couch.

 I go into my bedroom and search through my closet. I finally decide on a black body con dress from a new years party. It's very tight and shows off every part of my body. I've never really been insecure about my body. I'm 5'4 and 120 pounds and I have a large bust size and behind. Men in the past have tried taking advantage over me for my body and I have hope that Brennen isn't like the others. I walk out to the living room and when Brennen looks up at me his jaw drops and he says, "Wow, you're beautiful." Most guys probably would've said sexy or hot, but Brennen said beautiful, and it gave me a really good feeling. 

Brennen's POV: Wow she's hot, she's pretty, she's gorgeous, she's beautiful. How in the world could I have gotten so lucky to have someone as good as her.

Lexi's POV: He takes my hand and leads me out the door to his truck. As he opens the passenger door for me to get in, I notice the back of his truck covered in pillows and blankets. Once he gets in the car I ask him about it and he simply says, "You'll see", with a wink.

When we get to the restaurant he opens the door for me and we walk inside. He made reservations under his name but I guess since the waitress saw us together she assumed we were married and said, "Right this way, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor. I looked over at Brennen trying to hide the huge smile on his face and I laugh. 

Once we order and receive our drinks the waitress asks for our orders. I always order a salad on dates because it's proper and I like eating healthy. I also want to impress Brennen. I ask the waitress for a salad and Brennen looks at me with the most disappointed eyes ever and he asks the waitress to give us five minutes. I ask Brennen what the problem was and he says, "A salad?", and starts laughing, "Lexi, please tell me your not one of those girls." Apparently I'm not the only one. I then say, "I like salad." Brennen says,"let me ask you a question."

"Okay, go for it."

"When was the last time you didn't have salad on a date."

"I don't remember."

"Exactly."

He calls over the waitress and says, "We would both like to try the chefs choice."

We walk back to his car and I admit that it was one of the best meals I have ever had and he smiles. He starts driving and we drive to this place in the woods. I looked up into the sky once I got out of the car and there were no trees blocking the sky above us. I am astonished by the view and continue looking up and Brennen runs from behind me and picks me up and starts turning in circles and I start laughing and so does he. The sound of our laughter together is the best sound ever. He puts me down and turns me around. He cups my cheeks in his hands and places a single kiss on my forehead. He then picks me up again and takes me to the back of the truck. We both lay down and cuddle up very close to each other. After about an hour of cuddling and looking up at the stars. I turn the the side and Brennen spoons me. I push myself as close into him as possible and I can feel him getting hard against me, so I keep pushing myself closer and closer into him and he finally says, "I can't take it anymore."
