Minho's fingers trembled slightly as he tapped Seungmin's contact. He didn't even hesitate before pressing the call button, desperate to know if he was okay. The line rang once, twice—then he realized.
How could Seungmin even answer a call?
Minho groaned, dragging a frustrated hand down his face. He quickly ended the call and switched to texting instead.
Minho:
Are you okay?
Please, just let me know you're fine.
I'm worried
Minho:
Seungmin?
He hit send, waiting for the little "delivered" sign to appear. But it never did. The messages just sat there, unsent.
Minho frowned. That was strange. Maybe Seungmin's phone was off? Maybe he was just resting?
Still, unease settled in his chest like a rock. He checked his phone again before bed. No change. He tried calling again, but the line didn't even ring this time—just an immediate cutoff, as if...
His stomach dropped.
As if he had been blocked.
Minho sat frozen, his heart hammering against his ribs. His throat felt tight, his mind racing.
Did... did I do something wrong?
His chest ached at the thought. He didn't understand—why would Seungmin block him? Had he upset him? Had he hurt him somehow?
Minho curled his fingers into a fist, pressing it against his forehead as a sickening feeling crept into his gut.
What's going on...?

Seungmin wasn't coming to school today. It was obvious he wouldn't.
So Hyunjin walked through the school gates alone. The empty space beside him—where Seungmin usually stood—felt unbearable, but he shoved the feeling away. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered except keeping Seungmin safe from the people who hurt him.
And right now, there was one person he needed to see first.
The moment Hyunjin spotted Felix in the hallway, he made a beeline for him. Felix saw him coming and hesitated, his expression wary, but he didn't move away.
Hyunjin stopped in front of him, taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry."
Felix crossed his arms. "For what?"
"For lashing out at you." Hyunjin's voice was quieter now, almost hesitant. "I shouldn't have yelled. I just—" He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. "I wasn't thinking straight."
Felix sighed, his expression softening just a little. He was still upset, but he knew Hyunjin well enough to see through the cracks of his anger. He reached out, gently flicking Hyunjin's forehead. "You're an idiot," he muttered.
Hyunjin's lips twitched, a weak attempt at a smile. "I know."
Felix let out a small huff, then without warning, he grabbed Hyunjin's face with one hand, squishing his cheeks together. "You know I can't stay mad at you for long," he said, voice full of fondness.
Hyunjin blinked, lips still pursed from the grip on his face. "Mmmf."
Felix chuckled, finally releasing him, and Hyunjin rubbed his cheeks with a pout. "That hurt."
"That's what you get."
Hyunjin let the moment settle, the tension between them melting away as Felix leaned in, wrapping his arms around him. Hyunjin held him close, inhaling the familiar scent of his boyfriend. "I love you," he murmured.
