"Can I please?" He begged with pleading eyes. I was always a sucker for those but this time around, I was not cracking one bit. "Pwease...." He added the pouting lip.Oh dear god. Please. Help me and I shall pay for all my sins. Just help me through this and I shall swear no more. I am a strong person. I deserve better. I know you think so too. Please. I am strong. I am fine. I am able to fight the urges. Just let me fight through this one without having to think I may be in danger of failing it.

"Are you even listening to me?" I hear him ask all of a sudden. I blink fast. "What?" I ask. He sighed. "Laura. That's the third time this week. You can't keep zoning out. Pay attention." He said. "To what?" I ask. "The plan for tonight." He said. "Plan for what? " I asked. His eyebrows knitted together before raising one at me. "You don't remember do you?" He asked a little sadness clouding over his face. "Psh...I remember." I say. He looked at me as he crossed his arms and stared at me intently. I shifted uncomfortably.

"Oh yeah? What's tonight? What's today?" He asked. "Uh...Tuesday." I answered nervously. He tapped his foot impatiently. "Love you?" I say holding my arms out a little bit. He scolded at me.I slowly put my arms down. He rubbed his temples then his neck for a moment as if trying to figure out a way to approach the subject. Oddly. Looking at him like that reminded me of the first time we met. This boy is all sorts of charming. But my bitchy attitude must've been a little bit of a surprise. I chuckled to myself as he played with his fingers.

"I'm gonna go get something to eat." He said suddenly. I looked at the bag full of take out. "There's food right there." I say pointing and reaching for it. He pursed his lips. " I really need a cheeseburger." He said rubbing his stomach. "Are you trying to avoid me?" I asked pulling out a cheeseburger from the takeout bag. He shook his head. "No. But be right back." He said leaving the room. Huh? What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? Was it something I said? Maybe. Maybe not. I may never know. This is hard.

I woke up to the sound of paper. It didn't sound good. I ignored the fumbling mess I heard besides me and focused on why he walked out on me like that. Was it really what I said? Did I do something? I want answers. But I won't be getting one for a bit. I sat up slowly and looked around.Where's the war? It was happening just like a moment ago. I picked up my remote and called for a nurse. "You paged?" One asked. "I'd like to go outside please." I say. "But you know with your condition your in no shape to do that." She said.

Here we go again. I rolled my eyes. "Its my body. I want to be able to do things before its too late. Please." I say stretching out. Being hospitalized is not fun. And being on a bed all day that is not comfortable makes it worse."I don't agree with this but let me check in with your doctor. In the mean time, can you walk under your own power?" She asked as I heard shuffling on the other side. "I don't know.Should I try walking?" I asked. She agreed. She told me to practice walking, before I actually got to leave.
