-Jades p.o.v.--the next day-

"Freak" Clair muttered as I paced the cell.

"You have a visitor" the guard said looking at me. I nodded and she took me to the visiting center. When I saw T sitting at our table I felt calm. I went over there and sat down.

"I'm sorry I didn't come yesterday" she said and I shook my head.

"Visiting hours weren't allowed" I said and shrugged.

"How was your day yesterday?" She asked.

"Fine, I have a cell mate. I hate her" I said. She giggled.

"At least I won't have to worry about anything since you hate her" she said and I agreed.

"I have a feeling it's going to be a long wait til my court date" I said.

"I'll be there just so you know" she said and I looked up at her confused.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I'm staying by your side through this" she said.

"And I've been thinking you don't have to tell me anything if your not worried and I'll try to keep my questions on the down low" she said and I nodded once.

I looked down at her hands resting on the table and I wanted so badly to feel her touch. I put my cuffed hands on the table and looked at her. We stared into each others eyes for a moment.

"Take my hand, please" I whispered.

"Okay" she breathed out. She lifted her hand slowly and reached for my hand. She hesitated slightly then placed her hand in mine. They fit perfectly together. I felt something that was very foreign to me.

"What is it?" T asked clearly watching my every movement like I was doing with her. I shook my head slightly.

"Your touch, it-it makes me feel something I've never felt before" I whispered.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Like I'm safe and at peace" I said softly just looking at our hands.

"You haven't felt safe before now?" She asked and I shook my head a single tear slipping down my cheek.

"No, never" I whispered. I looked up at her and she reached out whipping the tear away. I never wanted to let go but my guard shot up and like instinct I let go and leaned back.

"Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded.

"I'm fine" I said.

"I shouldn't have-"

"Is this an apology?" She asked with a smirk. I have half smiled.

"I never apologize remember?" I asked.

"I remember" she said. Things got quiet.

"Whos that girl staring at us?" She asked and I glanced over not making it obvious.

"Clair, my cell mate" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Oh, well, no wonder she's death glaring you. You guys are like enemy's" she said and I nodded.

"Truthfully the day before after our visit I almost attacked her for pushing me when I told her to get out of my bed when she first arrived. Then yesterday Galaxy had a good hold on me and was gaining control fast, that's why I choked her, it was Galaxy but then-" I cut myself off.

"Then what?" She asked.

"I heard your voice whisper my name" I said looking up at her.

"It...calmed me" I said slowly fiddling with my fingers on the table.

"Both times?" She asked and I nodded.

"I don't know what's happening with me-" I looked up at her again. "-your bringing a side of me I didn't know I had out" I finished saying. She softly smiled.

"I think our time is up" she said looking behind me. I turned to see the guard walking over to us. We both stood up as the guard stood next to me.

"Jade?" She asked.

"Yea T?" I asked, she stepped closer to me gently placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Will you promise me something?" She asked.

"Anything" I said.

"Promise you'll return to me" she said. I looked her in the eyes and swallowed.

"I'm not good with promises but I can try" I said. She nodded and the guard started to pull me away from her.

I have to do it.

"T!" I said quickly looking back at her.

"Yes?" She asked. I pulled away from the guard and grabbed her waist crashing my lips to hers. Tingles spread all over my body and happiness took over when she kissed back. My wolf jumped for joy and I pulled away.

"We still have mind link" was the last thing I whispered in her ear before I was dragged away by the guard.

I never knew that I could actually be happy in a place like this, or my situation at home.

I never knew what happiness was but now?

Now I do.
