Chpt. 16

-jades p.o.v.--4:15 am-

"Are you okay?" T asks me as she grabs my hand. I look over at her and give her hand a light squeeze.

"Of course" I say and she gives me a look that says 'that's not the truth'. I just sigh.

"I don't like heights" I say and she leans over the arm rest and kisses my cheek.

"Don't worry, we're only like what? 35,000 feet in the air?" She ask and I glare at her.

"I don't know" I said and she giggles.

"I offered to take the window seat but no" she said holding her hands up in defense.

"I didn't want to be close to those people" I say and she shakes her head smiling. I grab her hand again and intertwine our fingers together.

"Its all good" she said and I just looked at her.

"Don't jinx it" I said and she playfully rolled her eyes at me.

"Please fasten your seatbelts we will be landing soon" the pilot said over the intercom. I sighed in relief as I put my seatbelt on.

"See? It was only 9 hours" she said.

"Yea 9 hours of no sleep" I said tired as hell.

"You didn't sleep?" She asked and I shook my head no.

"Why?" She asked and I shrugged.

"Planes scare me" I said. Which is the truth but that doesn't mean something else isn't bothering me.

"Your safe. See we're landing now" she said and I nodded.

After the plane landed we got off and got our suit cases. I looked around confused. Where's Tesstress?

"T!" I called out.

"Hey, hey" I said to these people that were on our flight and they stopped walking and looked at me.

"Have you the girl I was riding with? I can't find her" I said.

"No, sorry" they said shaking their head.

"Uh, thanks anyway" I said and continued to ask around but no one saw where she went.

"Where the fuck is she?" I asked panicked.

'Galaxy, can you locate her?' I asked.

'Uh, her mind links blocked' she said sounding worried as well.

'We need to pick up her scent then' I said.

'There's to many people, her scent is mixed with everyone' she said and I sighed.

I groaned and continued to call out her name.

"Miss do you need help with something?" A guard asked with a British accent.

"Yea, I can't find my girlfriend" I said worried.

"Okay, what's her name?" He asked.

"Tesstress Mayfair" I said looking around.

"Alright, why don't you come with me and we'll call her name over the intercom" he said and I nodded.

We went up to this lady and he told her the situation. She spoke into a phone asking for Tesstress Mayfair to come to our spot. Then notified other guards for a girl with blonde hair that may be traveling alone confused.

My phone started ringing and I looked down at the caller. I quickly answered it noticing the time.

"T? T where are you?" I asked but there was just silence on her end.

"T? Hello? T" I said but nothing. Then the line went dead.

"Was that your girlfriend?" The lady asked and I nodded.

"Yea but there was silence on her end of the phone" I said getting a really bad feeling about this.

"Come on T where are you?" I mumbled looking around.

"Maybe I can track down the call and see where she is" the lady suggested.

"Nah, maybe she got a cab home" I said knowing she didn't. I looked down at the counter with a sickly feeling in my gut.

The sliding doors opened and wind blew in.

'Scent!' Galaxy growled. My head snapped up at the sliding doors. She's outside.

I grabbed my bag and took off running.

"Miss! Your suit case!" The guard called after me. I ignored him and followed T's scent to the parking lot. I looked all around and heard her whimper. My head snapped to the right at the part of the parking lot no one was in.

My body tensed at the sight of what was happening.
