Chapter 16 - Telling Him

Connor's P.O.V.

"Baby. Please!"

I beg Jude as we sit on my bed. He sighs and gets up.

"Connor. You do what you wanna do. I'm going home. I have to go help set up the party for my grandparents."

He says with another sigh. He about to open the door when I jump to him.

"Jude. Please. It's just a party."

I say. He turns around with glossy eyes.

"Babe. Like I said. Do what you wanna do. I have to be at my grandparents anniversary party. Do what you wanna do."

He says and reaches up to touch my cheek. Tears keep building up in his eyes as he smiles. I sigh and wrap my arms around his waist. He looks down and let's out a shaky sigh. I kiss his forehead and he looks up at me. He wrap his arms around my neck and presses his lips against mine. I take one hand and cup his cheek and deepen it. I push him against the door while he runs a hand through my hair. I pull back as I look at his swollen lips.

"This feels so right."

I whisper and look into his eyes. I connect our lips again and pick him up. He wraps his legs around my waist as I walk over to my bed. I lay him down and take off his jacket. He pulls back making me pout. He giggles and runs a thumb over my cheek.

"Connor. We can't do this here while your dad is home."

He whispers while he cups my cheek. I let out an annoyed sigh. He giggles and I smile. I grab his other hand and intwine our fingers together.

"I love you so much Jude."

He giggles and touches my cheek with his other hand.

"I love you to Connor."

He kisses me softly on the lips. I smile and flips us over so he's straddling me. He squeals as I flip us over. I chuckle and kiss him. He giggles and puts his hands on my cheeks. I hear foot steps and I groan. Jude laughs and gets off of me. Someone knocks on the door while Jude puts his jacket on.

"Come in."

I yell. The door opens and my dad walks in.

"Hi Mr. Stevens."

Jude smiles at my dad. He nods and looks at me.

"I'll see you tomorrow Connor."

Jude nervously grabs his backpack and puts it on. I get off my bed and hug Jude.

"Bye love."

I whisper to him. I kiss him on the cheek and he blushes.

"Bye."

He whispers, kissing me on the cheek and walks out with my dad, closing the door behind him. God, I hope my dad doesn't do anything stupid.
Jude's P.O.V.

"Thanks for the ride Mr. Stevens."

I say getting out of the car.

"Hey, Jude?"

He asks nervously. 

"Hmm?"

I answer.

"Mind if I come inside real quick? I gotta ask your mom something."

He says getting out of the car closing the door. I close my door and start waking towards the house.

"Go ahead. No ones stopping you."

I say and walking into the house, walking past Lena as she calls my name. I get home and walk upstairs ignoring Lena. I go to my room and crash on my bed. Something's off about Connor. My phone goes off and I look and see Connor texted me.

My King👑😘💎: hey babe. Need any help?
Me: with what??
My King👑😘💎: with setting up the party silly. Haha. But do u??
Me: ooh. Haha. I'm stupid. But sure I could use the help.
My King👑😘💎: ur not stupid babe. Anyways I'll be over in 20. Sound good??
Me: yep. Sounds good. See u then.😘

Me: love u to😘💞

I lock my phone and close my eyes. I hear my door open and I open my eyes.

"Hey bud."

Lena says.

"I think it's time we have the talk."

Oh shit.

Connor's P.O.V.

I hear the door open from downstairs and my heart starts to beat fast. Footsteps echo through the house as the come close to my room. A soft knock lands on my door.

"Connor? Can I come in?"

I sigh and open the door. He walks in and sits on my desk chair. I sit on my bean bag waiting for him to talk.

"Connor-"

"No dad. Don't start. I know you don't like me having a relationship with Jude. Your not ok with me being gay. Dad I can't do it anymore. I think I should...I think I should go live with mom."

I breath out. His eyes go from angry to sadness.

"What about Jude. He's already been broken enough Connor. You'll just break him more."

My dad stands up and stops at the door.

"Just think about it Connor. He has no one to go to. He has siblings but that might not be enough. But hey, it's your decision."

He says over is shoulder and walks out, closing the door behind him. I can't leave Jude but I can't be hurt more by my dad. God, why does this have to be so hard.

Jude's P.O.V.

Connors moving with him mom. I understand though. But it's fine with me. He needs someone other than me to talk to him. But I'm gonna miss him. I mean I love him so yeah I'm gonna miss him.

I'm home alone because I felt really sick so I told the family to go to the hotel without me. They protested but I promised them I would be fine and if I needed them I would call them.

I pick up my phone and call Connor. He picks up on the second ring.

"Hey babe."

He says. I giggle.

"Hey babe. Do you wanna have a sleepover? They family is out of town and I feel lonely."

I explain to him.

"Sure. My dads not here. I'll be over in 10. Sound ok?"

I smile.

"Yeah. That's fine. See ya."

"I love you Jude."

"I love you to Connor."

I hang up and lay back down.

The doorbell rings and I get up. I walk downstairs and open the door. Connor smiles and hugs me. I put my head in the crook of his neck and wrap my arms around him. He pick me up and closes the door.

"Hey babe."

He whispers. I pull back and kiss him. He pulls me up and holds me by my butt as I wrap my legs around his waist. He puts his bag down and carries me upstairs.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?"

He says putting me down and looking at me in the eyes. I nod knowing he know what I'm thinking. This is going to be one hell of a night.
