Chapter 9

Baekhyun's POV

Xiumin hyung brought me to an alley. I looked around and slouched against the wall as he sat down next to me.

" This alley is somewhat our own kind of place where we can do anything we want to. This was where I confessed earlier on, " Xiumin smiled at me. I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks and I looked away, not wanting him to see me like this.

Xiumin laughed and pulled me closer as the sun set. It was getting a bit chilly, so I untied my jacket around my waist and covered Xiumin with it.

" Take this hyung. U might get a chill before long, " He held my hand and covered the both of us with it.

" Dont worry about me dongsaeng. U should worry about yourself more, " Xiumin pulled my head onto his shoulder and we stayed like that for a long time as the night came.

Xiumin's POV

I was about to ask Baekhyun something when I heard heavy breathing. I turned to find Baekhyun fast asleep, with his hands clinging onto my arm for comfort. I smiled and ruffled his hair, before pulling the jacket off the both of us and tying it around my waist. I carried Baekhyun as I brought him home.

When I opened the door, Appa and Jaesin were both shocked at Baekhyun. Without having to care, I went up to my room and laid Baekhyun in bed, before closing the door.

Appa was waiting for me at the dining table, so I just sat down and had my dinner. Jaesin was giving me the Ure-gonna-make-Appa-furious look and I ate my food.

" Where did u and the other boy go? " Appa asked sternly. I looked at him and set my utensils down.

" We went out, he fell asleep, I brought him home. Happy? " Appa slammed the table and lunged towards me. He pushed me against the wall and slapped my face and kicked my shins.

" Dont u dare answer like that to ur one and only father! I made sure u grew up right, and this is how u treat me? After ur Omma left us? U think its right to treat ur own father like this?! I dont think ure my son. Jaesin has better attitude than u, and I dont see why u should scream at ur yeodongsaeng! " Appa kicked me against the wall and I groaned.

Blood was coming out from my cheeks as Appa continued to whack me and he actually dared to take a knife and stab my left thigh.

" Appa! Stop Appa please!! " Jaesin screamed as she tried to defend me. Appa pushed her aside and he stabbed me again in the thigh.

" APPA JUST STOP! " Jaesin screamed at Appa. He stopped and then pushed his knee into my stomach.

" Thats what u get for making ur Omma die, u wretch, " He said as he motioned for Jaesin to follow him. The both of them went up into Jaesin's room and I limped up to my room to find Baekhyun staring at me.

Baekhyun's POV

I heard screams coming from downstairs. I wanted to go check it out but Xiumin hyung came back in one of the worst states. I stared at him from head to toe. Blood was gushing out of his left thigh and he had bruises and cuts everywhere.

" Baek ah... " Xiumin looked at me and winced. I immediately helped me onto the bed and rushed to get the first aid kit from my bag.

" Baekhyun... Its ok. Dont... dont worry about me, " Xiumin hyung coughed blood out as I bandaged his left thigh.

" No. Im not leaving u in this state until I make sure that ure completely ok, " I applied ointment onto his arms and legs. He didnt even wince one bit. When I looked at his face again, I knew it was gonna be hard to do up his wounds. I plastered the deep cut on his left cheek and wiped off the blood from his mouth and body.

" There. U should stay home for now because ure wounds will make everything worse, especially the one on ur thigh, " I advised him.

Xiumin shook his head and his eyes grew wide. He motioned for me to help him bring him to the toilet and the next moment I knew, I heard Xiumin hyung vomitting. He flushed the toilet but didnt come out. I knocked the door but there was no answer. As I opened it...
