Chapter 11

Omma was panting and gasping for air as the knife left her stomach and the loanshark escaped. I pulled myself towards her, and held onto her hand as I uncontrollably sobbed. I pulled the tape from my mouth.

" Lets... lets get u an ambulance Omma. I want u to be safe please!! " Omma cupped my face in her hands and weakly smiled.

" Dont son... I knew it would be harder on me if I lost my eldest child. Shame on ur father for what he said. I know I cant make it, so please fulfill my last wish, and take care of Jaesin for me. I dont care about ur Appa or anything else. Just make sure Jaesin grows up right alright? " Omma pulled me down and kissed my temple. I looked at her when she smiled and then, she was gone.

" Omma! No Omma no! No dont leave Jaesin and me! No Omma no! " I sobbed and cried hard as I heard someone push the main door open.

Appa was standing there stunned and surprised I wasnt dead. He walked slowly towards me and bent down.

" I... I can explain everything Minseok, " Appa whispered.

" No! No u cant Appa! I know u never liked or even acknowledged me as ur son from the day I was born! U only love Jaesin because she's a girl while Im a boy. U only wanted girls as ur children u greedy ass! Even if I wanted to, I would have let Omma lived instead of me! Even if it was without ur wish that u wanted me dead! " Appa slapped me hard and kicked me against the wall. He kicked me until I passed out.

The next moment, I knew I was in the hospital because of the smell of it. Appa was nowhere to be found, and Jaesin was next to me with the rest of my family members.

I burst out crying and Jaesin hugged me. Everyone else stood back and waited until I fell asleep.

* END OF FLASHBACK *

I couldnt find the right words to say when Appa stepped into the toilet. He found the knife and looked at me.

He bent down and smirked.

" Remember why I wanted u dead? It came out from ur own little mouth u psychopath. Now lets see who wins in the end, " He kicked and punched my face and left.

Baekhyun stood at the door and he immediately carried me. He stripped me like as if he didnt care and pushed me under the cold water. I winced and Baekhyun held in place as he washed me up and then made me change into new clothes. He then wiped the floor clean and covered up my wounds.

" There. Its gonna be ok. Dont worry that much about the deep cuts. It'll take some time but it should heal soon, " Baekhyun advised.

Baekhyun's POV

I finished cleaning up Xiumin hyung's wounds and put the first aid back in my bag. I heard every word his abeoji said in the bathroom. Now I know why Xiumin tenses up easily and his temper can go off at times. Its thanks to Mr Kim who threated Xiumin hyung in every way possible that resulted in this.

I laid out the blankets, changed into only shorts and left my upper part bare, and got into bed with Minseok. He was looking at me intently as I pulled the blankets up to us.

" U sleep like this too? " He asked. I nodded my head. Xiumin immediately stripped his upper body and the both of us snuggled into bed.

The next morning, I felt someone's arm wrapped around my body. It didnt take long for me to realise that Xiumin hyung's arm wrapped me into an embrace, and his face was buried near the back of my neck.

I shifted a bit, but Xiumin pulled me back and I knew I was facing him when his hair brushed against my face.

" Morning~ " He whispered as I pecked his lips.

" Morning hyung, " I replied while I brushed the hair out of his eyes. I sat up while Xiumin hyung clung onto the hem of my shirt.

" Lets get ready and go to school soon. A lot of shits to deal with... " He said as he pulled out his uniform from the closet. It was then I realised how he had to face his horrible father that was his pile of shit.
