Life Story:

Flit grew up fairly normal, with a loving and stable family, despite, in particular, her fathers storied past. There was an incident where she almost drowned in her backyard pool, when her father accidentally knocked her from the side of the pool - but she didn't let it affect her long term, and still enjoys swimming, and still trusts her dad to not accidentally drown her.

She was bullied in school for being different, and so did not have a comfortable time of it. She spent most of her free time at school in the art rooms, or in the library. She received many awards for her sporting and artistic abilities.

Though she avoided physical conflict as much as possible, from a young age her father taught her how to fight and defend herself - a brutal affair, involving eye gouges and throat stomps.

She was diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety shortly after she reached puberty, and has struggled with it her whole life. As long as she takes her medication regularly she can manage the condition.

Personality:

Flit, while very loyal and brave in the face of adversity, can be stubborn, pig headed and short tempered when she feels like it. She loves her friends very much, and would do anything for them, but has a hard time tolerating laziness, hypocrisy, and lame excuses.

She loves animals and cute things, and has an obsession with the aesthetic of alternative culture, particularly piercings, dresses, tattoos and shoes. She likes polka dots and lace.

She is very open and unconcerned about sexuality.

Though she lives a normal life with a regular job, and always talks about wanting stability and regularity, she secretly longs for adventure and excitement to break the monotony.

She loves helping people and offering advice, and is rarely wrong.

Due to her Personality disorder she will sometimes have mood swings. She can get very violent and often can't control what she does or says, and regrets it later when she's calmed down. When she gets really stressed her markings glow intensely, and her tail starts to make strange noises. She is very emotionally driven, and holds beliefs and morals strongly, but if her mood changes her view on everything can flip. Sometimes if her mood is in the downward phase of her personality cycle she can think nothing but negative views about herself and how worthless she is, and has trouble sleeping or doing anything. When she is feeling up, though, she is extremely happy and bubbly and nothing can stop her.

General life:

She has to rely on busses and trains, because she doesn't have a car license. She enjoys bus trips, it gives her a chance to people-watch, read, and listen to music with her over-head red headphones.

Work life:

Won't tolerate crap from rude customers - she can be snarky to them, and often uses her quick wit and brutal honesty to embarrass them. She gets flustered when something unexpected happens, but it doesn't affect her ability to improvise solutions. She is super helpful and chatty with polite customers and colleagues. She is often found reading during lulls in work. She constantly asks for live music at the store, or at least live readings, and says it's a good way to promote local artists.
