Chapter 2

Ginny's POV

I couldn't believe her. I knew she lived Draco and I knew Draco loved her. As for Ron he was just using her for another meaningless shag. Where was Lavender when you needed her?

I followed Draco down to the black lake but along the way I lost him. Then I heard a faint sobbing. Please no. I rounded a tree and there he was the one and only Draco Malfoy was sitting up against a tree bawling his eyes out.

"Draco?" I said softly.

"Go away Ginny." He hissed through sobs. "How well do you know me, do you really think I'm just going to leave you here? I could go murder Hermione but then where would it leave us, huh?" I stated blatantly.

"I really thought she loved me." He said downcast.

"She does. I know she does that loss of contact just broke her you know? She's trying to deny her feelings and my brother well he's just going to use her."

"What do you mean loss of contact I wrote to her everyday. Everyday Gin." He almost yelled.

"She didn't get any owls Draco I would know she stayed in my room, we are best friends we are Hadley ever apart and especially after the war."

I finally got him to calm down. "But what about Ron?" He said. "Just talk to her you need to at least be her friend again, as for where the owls went I have no clue but we can't go back. And her and Ron will die down quickly, believe me."

'If you say so Gin.''

Merlin they are perfect for each other bloody stubborn and crying over each other.

Hermione's POV

I'm so angry with Ginny, how dare she I'm her best friend not him. If she wants to get angry get angry with him.

"You ok?" Ron asked concerned. "Yeah I'm fine'' I lied with a small smile.

"If you say so, do you wanna go for a walk today? Classes don't start for a few more days, may as well make the most of it maybe go to hogsmede?" He suggested.

"I'd love to Ron."

"What the?" Harry said looking more confused that if Voldemort came in dancing like a ballerina then proposing to him.

"Oh yeah we're together mate." Ron said matter of factly.

"Too weird." He said shivering then leaving the hall.

"First Gin now him what's going on?''

"Im Gin'a best friend and you're her brother" I lied " and as for Harry he should be freaked out his two best friends suddenly getting together."

"Yeah I guess." He said a little more upbeat.

"To Hogsmede?" I said.

"To Hogsmede."

It was pretty busy in Hogsmede so we decided on just a butterbeer. It was warm and cozy, not just because of being wrapped up in Ron's arms. "You're perfect you know that?" He said pulling me from my reverie. "And you're a suck up" I said laughing.

"It's true" he said before capturing my lips with his. But there was no spark. He would get there I kept telling myself.

I didn't notice as Draco sauntered in looking down cast.

Draco's POV

Urg I couldn't get away from them. It broke my heat to see them sitting there snogging as if their lives depended on it. Be the bigger person Draco be the bigger person. Listen to Ginny, listen to Ginny. But when I saw his hands start assaulting (not literally this is a jelly dude here) her ass I lost it.

Pansy walked in urg. Pansy. "Pansy" I yelled and ran up and kissed her. Being Pansy she didn't object and got a little to into it. By now there we wolf whistles and old people cooing over young love. She would have had to notice by now.

What was I doing. I stopped grabbed her hand and got out of the three broomsticks. "That meant NOTHING do you hear me? NOTHING. Don't talk to me again!" I yelled

She looked like a scared puppy "y-yes I'm sorry.'' She said them scampered off. I'm an idiot.

Hermione's POV

She whole restraunt blew up in cheers. What was it? I looked up to see Draco snogging Pansy slut Parkinson. I don't know why but my heart broke. "Urg Malfoy." Ron said and grabbed my face.
