Chapter 6

Hermione's POV

Urg could I go yet. We have been here for about two hours now, must I relive the "incident" again. I looked to Draco who still had his arms wrapped around me, he was still angry but had the same bored expression as me. "Excuse me professor, how much longer is this going to take, I do not wish to relive the "incident" again, I think we all know what has happened and frankly I just want to go to bed." I sighed my Gryfindor courage getting the best of me. "I couldn't agree with you more miss Granger, mrs Weasley would you like to take mr Weasley back home with you and we shall come up with a suitable punishment tomorrow.'' Magonagal sighed.

Finally, I thought. It seems the rest of the room thought the same as me judging by the enthusiastic walking to the floo network. "Just so you know I'll try kill him in his sleep for you if you want." Fred whispered as he gave me a goodbye hug. I just laughed in response.

Molly obviously hearing this "and I will oh too happily help. I'm so sorry Hermione dear." She said.

"Thank you mrs Weasley." I said.

The walk back to the common room was almost silent until he said. "So are we back together because I think tonight is a testament that I love you Mione and I hate seeing you hurting. But if this isn't what you want..." I shut him up by pressing my lips to his, oh how I had missed his sweet lips. Merlin I love this guy. "So I'll take that as a yes?" He said breaking the kiss to walk through the portrait.

"Yes" I beamed.

"Drake?" I murmured.

"Yes Mione" he said full of concern.

"I don't really want to be alone tonight, can I sleep with you tonight?'' I asked sheepishly.

"Come here beautiful" he said moving over in his bed. Oh thank Merlin. I jumped in and curled up into his loving embrace, I felt at home. "I love you Mione.'' He said.

''I love you too drake." I whispered falling into a not so peaceful sleep.

Draco's POV

"I love you too drake." She said. My heart skipped a beat although I wanted the events of this evening to burn in hell, I was happy I had her back. My lioness.

I awoke to screams, Hermione was tossing violently in the bed. Nightmares. "No, no please.'' She screamed.

"Hermione, Hermione it's just a dream, it's just a dream, you're ok" I said shaking her awake.

"Draco!" She yelled a sigh of relief while falling into my arms.

"It's ok my lioness, you're safe now, it's ok I cooed.

"It was a-awful, but he didn't stop" she broke down into more tears caving into my chest.

"Hermione, he's never going to hurt you, let alone touch you ever again. I won't let him. Do you trust me?" I said gently lifting her chin up.

"With my life and beyond." She said.

We walked down to the great hall the next morning hand and hand Mione more at ease knowing he would be reckoned with today, and me at her side. Within seconds of arriving at the Gryfindor table she was impaled with a hug. "Hermione" Ginny yelled attracting most of the attention in the great hall. The "incident was being kept well under wraps so most of the students just thought Ginny was phsyco.

Cake for breakfast, AWESOME! Somehow it only appeared around us. Subtle headmistress I thought. Hermione must of thought the same thing and she said nothing and grabbed a huge slice of decadent chocolate cake and gave me a look. "Nice touch I muttered before shovelling a piece in my mouth before the other students caught on.

Walking up to the headmistress office Hermione began to tense up. "Hey guys you go ahead we'll be up in a minute" I said to Ginny and Harry with a knowing look. The just continued and said the password to the gargoyle.

I wrapped my arms around her as she started shaking "shh shh it's going to be fine baby, I've got you it's ok'' I said as sobs began to rack through her body. "You're right" she said bottling upright with her Gryfindor courage. "Let's go she said pulling me towards the gargoyle.

When we got up there the weasleys had already arrived and the git sat on a chair heavily bodyguarded by them. I wrapped my arms around Hermione and sent daggers in his direction. Then Magonagal spoke up "in the case of Ronald Billius Weasley, against logical and popular beliefs..." Oh shit. "Mr Weasley shall be staying on at Hogwarts."
