Part Twelve

I decided to put in another P.O.V

Gabrielle's

Are you actually kidding me? I only just got her back and she's fucking leaving! Samantha and Scout told me she'll be back soon and that I shouldn't go after her but I know for a fact she is going to get herself killed! I run my fingers through my hair as I pace around the lookout. I suggested for us to all leave and look for her but they said it was a bad idea especially if she came back. I love her so much but god she can be stupid.

"Gabrielle, please sit down." Samantha says. "Yeah, it's kind of freaking us out." Scout adds. My face goes hot but I ignore it as I realise I shouldn't get angry in front of Kelli.

"Babe, we should stay here for the afternoon and night." My head snaps back as I hear a voice from down the look out. "Someone's there." I whisper. I hold my hand on the back of my jeans where my gun is to prepare for what is coming. As heads come into view I notice it's a guy and a girl, around the same age as me. The guy notices me and immediately pulls his gun out. I do the same and we stand there for a while staring at each other. "Easy people." Scout says coughing on a laugh. "No need to get all feisty with each other." The girl reaches for his gun and lowers it down. "Mike, it's fine." She whispers in his ear. He looks at me then her before putting in back in his pants. I decide to put mine away as well. "What is your name?" I ask the girl since I already knew the guy's name. I eye her up and down to see she's wearing khaki jeans and a red tank. She's so beautifully tan and her brown eyes are just perfect. She notices me staring and quickly replies. "Summer." But the way she replies makes her sound like she was out of breath. I quickly avoid glances. What am I doing? She has a boyfriend and I'm pretty sure Skye and I are together now too. I think. "What are you names?" Mike asks. "I'm Gabrielle; this is Scout, Samantha and Kelli." I say gesturing to each of the girl's as I say their names. I look back to Mike and Summer to see her biting her lip before walking around me, her arm brushing up against mine. A shiver runs down my spine and my cheeks burn up. What the hell is going on with me?

Skye's P.O.V

I wish I didn't walk off now. It is getting dark and I think I am lost but luckily for me I managed to find a couple of apples to eat. Who am I kidding! ARGH! Why did I have to leave? I jump at the noise of a bush moving. "Gabrielle?" I call out. "Oh come on, if you are planning to scare me don't." I turn around slowly to see not Gabrielle but a group of zombies. Great, just great. I pull out my katana and wait. "Come on!" I shout. They all growl and screech as they finally make their way over. I stab one of them in the head which goes through to the next head. I grin before striking another one. This was easier than I-OH FUCK! I look behind to see more coming. I kill one last one before running like hell in another direction. You know when someone says "Run like a bear is chasing you, that'll sure make you run fast" now in this case you have no option but to fun fast because something is actually trying to kill you! I run and run until my foot catches onto something and I fall on my ass. I look back and smile to see that there was none in sight. All of a sudden something grabs hold of my leg from behind a tree and I nearly scream. I grab a knife from my pocket to cut the arm off. It then comes around the tree and leans down to me. I pull back the knife and stab it through the head just as it was at least a centimetre in front of my face. I push it to the side, out of breath before standing up. I dust off what was left of my holey pants before walking. In the distance I can make out the tall lookout. Finally, I made it back. As I continue to walk, something catches my eye in the distance. I clutch my knife, holding it far in front of me. What I see becomes clearer and it causes me to drop my knife. "What the fuck!" I shout.

Gabrielle's P.O.V

Summer and Mike were so nice they gave us some cold pizza that was still fresh and homemade by Summer. It was surprisingly very good. After we finished, I decided to go have a walk to see if I could find Skye while everyone else tried to sleep. As I sneak down the stairs I hear a faint laugh from behind me as I walk towards the forest. I turn my head to see Summer right behind me. "You don't have to come with me." I tell her before continuing to walk. "Well I am." She says. I don't say anything else as we walk further into the forest. After a few minutes I decide I should probably say something. "So are you-." I'm interrupted as I feel my body being pressed up against a tree. I hear someone hushing in my ear. I feel two hands running down my arms and to the hem of my shirt before it was pulled off. "Summer, what are you doing?" I ask. She turns me to face her before smirking. "You'll enjoy this." She says before crashing her lips onto mine. Without thinking, I pull her up as her legs wrap around me. She tugs on my lip and I turn around to push her up against the tree. I go to pull her top off only to freeze at a cold voice from behind. "What the fuck!"
