Chapter 6

“George! George! George! Geor! Ger-bleh.” Kristen’s tongue twisted and she slipped when she got near him but he luckily caught her before she hit ground.

“This better be good.” George laughed.

“First, the  kissed so you owe me five bucks…Secondly  she ditched him and drove home with your car so I’m going to have to drop you off.” She said. George’s mouth dropped when he hears everything.

“Close your mouth honey, you’ll catch flies.” Kristen snatched his mouth closed.

“Haha very funny! So can you take me home now?” George gave her a knuckle head. She playfully pushed his face away and walked to her car.

“You gonna steal my girl G?” Enrique pulled George back on his shoulder.

“Yeah man! I’ll tell you how it worked out tomorrow morning.” George laughed and climbed in the car.

“I’ll call you later.” She kissed him and  climbed in her car and drove to George’s house.

When they got home he greeted her and walked in the house and up the stairs to Elise’s room. Her room was dark but she sat in front of her computer staring like a zombie and texted at the same time.

“Greetings Alien.” George turned the light on and she reacted to the light as if she was a vampire.

“Got…tickets…my eyes!” She closed her eyes and crawled to under her bed but bumped her head. George laughed and pulled her out.

“When are you going to fly?”

“Tomorrow morning, I need to pack now.” She rushed to her closet and squealed: “SPIDER!” and then he heard a squash sound.

“Please! Have respect for the eight legs!” He laughed and went downstairs to watch TV.

It was early the next morning Elise rushed downstairs and called Kristen: “Pack now! Meet me at the airport in ten!”

“Ten minutes?! Are you $%#* kidding me?!” Kristen screamed over the phone.

“No chika! Ten o’clock.” Elise hanged up and ate breakfast and rushed George, who was curled up like a baby under his sheets, up.

“I swear I didn’t do it!” He yelled when he woke.

“I know! Get dressed, we’ve got to go!.” She pushed him to his closet and ran to her room to get her bags, six of them, and put it in the car. George rushed down the stairs and tripped over his feet.

“oefm. KAGH. MA.” Came out of his mouth while he fell down. He immediately stood up and looked around to see if anyone saw him and rubbed the back of his head.

“George!” Elise shouted and he ran to the car and they drove.

“So how long will you be away?” George asked.

“I’ll deliver everything and I think rest a few days.” She said. After about ten minutes they got to the airports’ drop off zone and saw Kristen with Enrique. He pulled over near them and they got out of the car.

“Bye bro.” Elise hugged him and loaded her bags on a cart.

“Yeah safe flight. And don’t do anything stupid.” George chuckled. Elise waited for Kristen to say her goodbyes and the two walked in. Their bags were loaded in the plane and they sat in the plane waiting to take off.

Elise looked out of the window and smiled to herself, she got interrupted when she heard mumbling. She looked over at Kristen who’s eyes were closed and mumbling in Spanish.

“Kristen?” Elise poked her shoulder.

“This plane isn’t going to fall is it?” Her eyes were huge and grabbed an air hostess’ arm and asked the same question.

“First flight.” Elise pulled her back and smiled.

“We’re going to die. We’re going to die!” She stood up and started to panic crazily.

“I’m sorry Kristen.” Elise said and pressed a point behind her ear and Kristen passed out. The flight passed away fast because Elise slept the flight through too. The threw on a few jackets and climbed off the plane. The place was white of all the snow and the road was iced and there was a strong wind blowing that made the two almost curl up.

“I-I-I-I b-b-blame you!” Kristen covered her ears and walked faster towards the airport. Elise was on her heels and once they came in a wave of warmth hit them.

“Now let’s get our bags and the boxes and go to our cottage inn. and sleep in front of the fire.” Kristen went to get the bags. Elise sighed and walked after her. They took a taxi to their location and when the driver pulled over Kristen was in a split second in the cottage and sat in front of the fireplace and lit the fire.

An half hour later they were done packing and changed into warmer clothes.

“I’m guessing you are going to sit in front of the fire and watch TV?” Elsie put a soft purple scarf around her neck and a cute matching beanie.

“You know me so well!” Kristen said and turned the TV on.

“Well, I’m going to check the place out.” Elise smiled and walked out. She looked around and just saw trees and snow, and  a few little cottages with smoke coming out of the chimney.  She walked into the woods to see what’s in this world. She most of the time walked down hill and the snow was up to her knees. She kept on walking till she reached a lake with ice floating on it. She walked closer and felt the water with her fingers.

“Damn.” She whispered. The water was so cold that her fingers went from pale white to snow white. She immediately put her hand in her pockets to make it warmer. She closed her eyes and inhaled, she felt so relaxed. Her mind was finally clear. CRACK! Came from behind and she turned around to see what’s behind her. In front of her was a black siberian husky. It had a silver collar around its neck and its eyes were ocean blue. The husky walked closer to her and sniffed her legs, she stood still and felt wetness on her hand. She looked down and the dog was pushing its nose against her hand. She bent down and started to pet him.

“What’s your name?” She smiled and looked at the name tag. “Ghost?” She said as she read it.

“Ghost! Where are you?!” She stood up when she heard a voice calling. The dog barked and sat down next to her.

“Is that your owner?” She looked down at the dog and looked around to see where the person is. A man ran down  and stopped when he saw Ghost. He froze when he saw someone standing next to Ghost and walked closer. Elise’s eyes stretched when she noticed how cute he looked. He was tall, white skin and even whiter of the cold, dark hair long enough to hang over his eyes, his eyes were emerald green. And either his clothes were very thick or he was very strong built.

“There you are puppy!” He bent down and scratched the back of the dog’s ear. He then stood straight and smiled: “Hi, sorry about him. I’m Mason.”

“No he’s so cute and I’m Elise.” She took her hand out of her pocket and shook his hand. She almost gasped when she felt how hot his hands were and how much huger it was than hers.

“Pleased to meet you. I’m guessing you are new here because I’ve never seen you?” He smiled. Wow, his smile is beautiful. She smiled and said: “Yeah, I’m here for business?”

“Nice, well I’ve got to run. I hope I’ll see you again.” He greeted and walked backwards and called for Ghost. Ghost barked and ran to Mason and they ran into the woods.
