Lapis awoke to Peridot's soft snores, her eyes fluttering open. She lay still for a moment, just listening to the steady sound of his breathing. She smiled as she realized he was still asleep, his face relaxed and peaceful. He looked so adorable when he was sleeping.
Lapis reached up and caressed his face, brushing his hair away from his eyes. Peridot stirred slightly at her touch, his breath momentarily hitching. But he stayed asleep, his face relaxed and content under her touch. He nuzzled his face into her hand, his body seeking out her touch even in sleep. She couldn't help but smile softly as Peridot nuzzled his face into her hand. She brushed her fingers through his hair, enjoying the feel of his silky strands between her fingers.
Peridot's eyes fluttered open as he groaned and stretched, his body slowly waking up from sleep. He blinked a few times, getting his bearings before his gaze landed on Lapis, who was still lying next to him.
He smiled sleepily at her, his voice hoarse as he spoke. "Morning, beautiful."
Lapis smiled back at him, her heart fluttering at the endearment. She leaned in to brush a kiss against his forehead, her fingers still playing with his hair.
"Sleep well?" She asked, her tone soft.
Peridot hummed as he shifted closer to Lapis, wrapping his arms around her. "Especially well after last night."
"Oh yeah?" She teased, nuzzling her face against his neck. "You wore me out, you know."
"I didn't hurt you, did I?" Peridot said, his voice slightly concerned.
Lapis shook her head, a small giggle escaping her lips. "No, you didn't hurt me." She assured him. "I liked it when you got a little rough with me."
Peridot chuckled at her response, his lips curving into a smug smile.
"You liked it when I got rough with you, huh?" he said, his voice low and husky. "Is that why you made all those pretty noises for me last night?"
Lapis felt her cheeks flush at his words, a heat wave spreading over her body. It was embarrassing to admit how much she had enjoyed his rough treatment, but it was also thrilling to hear him talk about it like this.
"Maybe," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But you were pretty vocal yourself, you know."
Peridot laughed softly at her pointed observation, his fingers tracing patterns on her skin.
"I can't help it when I've got a beautiful woman writhing underneath me," he said, his voice low and suggestive. "You bring out a whole other side of me."
Lapis shivered under his suggestive words, her heart fluttering in her chest. She loved how confidently he could say things like that and how unapologetically he embraced their chemistry and desire.
"Is that so?" she teased, her voice sultry. "And just what 'other' side is that, exactly?"
Peridot nipped at her chin. "You'll just have to wait and see~"
Lapis let out a soft gasp at the gentle nip of his teeth on her chin, her body responding immediately to his touch. She loved how easily he could rile her up, the thrill of anticipation making her heart race.
"You're such a tease," she chided, her voice a little breathless. "But I guess I can wait...for now."
Peridot placed another kiss on her lips before pulling away. "Breakfast?"
Lapis smiled at his suggestion. "Breakfast sounds good," she said, propping herself up on one elbow with a yawn. 'What do you have in mind?"
"I'll surprise you, how about that?" Peridot suggests, looking through his closet for a robe.
