Maggie's POV

I woke up the next morning and already heard arguing. It was too early for all this.

I opened my curtain and saw a giant teddy bear sitting at my window.

I opened it and grabbed him smiling.

I quickly got dressed and sat him in my room, then when I walked out my room I heard more of the argument.

"It's final Austin stay away from him!"

"Why do you do this to me! Every person I love why!"

"Cause! Every time you get hooked up with someone you change completely! I need you to be who you are!"

Austin laughed "that's the most bullshit I've ever heard come out of your mouth in a day and realize you kept telling me you loved me everyday on my birthday, but I guess that wasn't enough bullshit for you?"

Mom was in there too "Austin your father and I both love you, we just want what's best for you, do you not remember what he made you do to Roxie?"

The room got quiet then I jumped from the sound of something hitting the wall.

I faintly could hear the words coming out of Austin's mouth "Tailin's not the reason Roxie got raped, all he did was hold her down, he did not once even penetrate her. I don't think y'all really know who's crazier out of us! You think he's something?! I have no soul anymore! What do y'all think of that hmm?! Do y'all like that I'll be stuck this way forever! Case it runs in my fucking blood now?! He is in me! Controlling my body and taking over! And there's nothing you can do about it."

I slowly opened the door just wanting a peak in.

Then it swung open completely and there stood Austin.

I didn't know what to do "I-I-I was just making sure you were okay."

Austin frowned then I saw what he was doing. He pulled his shades off Revealing Blood Shot eyes "is this! This right here! Okay? Does this look okay Maggie!"

I shook my head "No, but I have to get to school I'll see you later..."

I ran out faster than I ever had before.

I arrived to the school and started walking down the hallway and I heard footsteps running towards me.

I froze and turned to see Tyler coming.

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk off.

He grabbed my arm and turned me around to see a Bouquet of roses and a football in the middle.

"I know I messed up, but please, give me another chance to make it right by taking you to homecoming?"

I bit my lip and nodded hugging him "even though you already asked me."

He laughed "second times the charm?"

I playfully punched his arm "yeah cause they're will be no third time."

Just as we we're talking in the hallway, there came Ashton, she had that same evil smirk as usual on her face and walked over "well I guess it's happily ever after for Nerderella and Nerd Charming?"

I rolled my eyes "what are you talking about Tyler isn't a nerd, I'm surprised he even asked me to homecoming it's probably some kind of joke y'all played on me."

As Ashton went to speak and every one was watching of course I looked at Tyler, he was taking his contacts out and put them up, he pulled his glasses out his pocket and put them on.

I gasped "Tyler."

He put his head up and laughed "Yeah I'm a nerd just like Maggie. So what?
At least I still have something Ashton doesn't. A heart."

Ashton Gasped and I saw her eyes watering, she took off down the hallway crying, but Amber and Kayleigh didn't follow.

I looked at them "shouldn't y'all go help her?"

Amber shook her head "we were only friends with her so she wouldn't target us, the truth I is, that I'm a secret comic book lover."

Kayleigh nodded "and I'm a sucker for a good Harry Potter book, and I may or may not have read them all, more than once, and I have all the merch."

I laughed "oh my god is like the whole popular squad like Secret nerds."

Adam and Bryant walked over "not me." Said Adam

Bryant laughed "I don't take honors like this dude over here" he pointed to Tyler "but I do have a 4.0 gpa."

I looked at Adam "you have to have at least one nerd like quality."

Adam sigh "ugh I don't know I'm a big Gutiar Hero fan?"

Tyler rolled his eyes and hugged him "I guess that'll work."

Adam laughed "and I already knew you wore contacts. That day in the bathroom? You completely couldn't tell who I was and I saw your contact go down the drain."

Tyler gasped "you didn't think to tell me! You could have helped me down the hall!"

Adam laughed "let's just go to class so we can get school over with and go play this Homecoming game!"

I nodded and walked to my locker with Tyler's arm around me.

Roxie was walking down the hall and to her locker, I walked over and hugged her "Rox, why didn't you ever tell me who hurt you?" I whispered this to her.

Roxie sighed and looked at me "cause, I had forgotten everything about it. Until When Tailin busted in that day."

I hugged her "we're pretty fucked up aren't we?"

She nods "yep. Now let's go to class."

After school

I grabbed my football Gear and was getting ready to leave when I saw something shining through the window.

I opened my window, Tyler's whole room was glowing, and I saw Tyler in there, with. Mirror and a flashlight.

I laughed " you butthead I thought there was something wrong!"

Tyler smiled "there is, you refused to ride with me to the game!"

I smiled "I'll meet you down in 5."

He smiled and shut his window.

I shut mine too, and as I walked out I looked at Austin's room, he sat in there in a ball.

"Aus, I'm playing tonight if you wanna come watch?"

Austin smiled the best he could at me, it wasn't that big " I think I'll just stay in."

I nodded and walked outside, Roxie was standing beside Tyler and had number 12 on one cheek and 24 on the other.

I smiled " okay peeps lets get going."
