For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Mehrish Hossain:

The entire house is radiating with warmth and joy now. All of my relatives, along with my cousins, have gathered. The little children are bustling energetically, running through the rooms, their voices echoing with excitement. And here Mumma is helping me to put on my sunshine- colored yellow jamdani saree. Yes, I can't wear Saree alone. Mumma is also draped in a pretty pastel-yellow shade Saree.Today is our gaye holud but it will happen separately. Mr.Khan's gaye holud is held at his house.

Only two days are left until my Nikkah (wedding). Tomorrow is my Mehendi. I still can't believe I'm marrying that Mr.Bipolar handsome jerk. And I am hella embarrassed because he saw my singing video. I am still mad at Zuni api as she betrayed me. I don't know how would I face him on our Nikkah day.

Yesterday, Zuni api, Zishu bhaiya, and his cousins came and gave me their side of dalas(gifts). My cousins, Mehwish api, Ayza, and Laiba also went to his house to give our side of dalas. Honestly, the dalas were so cute, they sent big fishes. And so many luggage, I was in awe. There were--- makeups, dresses, sarees, shoes and so on. One thing always used to attract me at weddings which was dalas. And I still love them.

Anyway, back to the gaye holud- it's being held on our terrace, and Baba has taken care of all the arrangements

Anyway, back to the gaye holud- it's being held on our terrace, and Baba has taken care of all the arrangements. I haven't seen the final decorations yet because I'm still getting ready.

"Mehr, stay still," Mumma said and I stood straight sighing heavily. She began pleating the saree. As she tugged at the fabric, I couldn't help but laugh because it felt ticklish. "Mehr, don't laugh," she warned. "You're tickling me, Mumma," I said, still laughing.

"Ohoo!! Our bride is in a very happy mood! MashAllah," Ayza walked into my room and teased as always. "Of course, It's her wedding," Laiba said and I nodded in agreement.

"Done," Mumma said as she was done drapping my Saree. "Okay now let me do your makeup," Mehwish api came and stated. I saw Mehwish Api, she was wearing a beautiful mustard color, Saree. "MashAllah, api, you look gorgeous," I said smiling. She smiled back and said "I know," playfully. I chuckled. On the other hand, laiba and Ayza are twinning wearing a light orangish Saree. "Ayza, Laiba, you two are looking MashAllah, MashAllah," I said winking at them. They chuckled.

Meanwhile, Mehwish api started doing my makeup. "Ayza please play Sasural genda phool song," Mehwish api said smirking. "Okay!" Ayza chimed and played it. I face-palmed myself and said, "You guys love to tease me isn't it?" I said. "Of course," three of them said in unison.
