The saddest part of betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies❞

Aarish Yazeed Khan:

I was peacefully lost in my sleep when suddenly, I felt the gentle touch of a kiss on my forehead. Slowly, I fluttered my eyes open, yet I saw no one. The room was covered in soft, dim light, creating an atmosphere of quiet serenity. Then, I heard a light, musical giggle, like a soft melody floating through the air. Fascinated by it, I slowly got out of bed, Attracted to the source of the sound.

To my surprise, I saw a girl, in front of the mirror, a vision of elegance and grace. The faint sound of bangles chimed softly with her every movement, creating a rhythmic sound. The air around her was filled with a sweet, delicate fragrance of jasmine, its freshness captivating my senses. Mesmerized, I took a few cautious steps closer to her, unable to tear my gaze away.

I reached out without thinking, my fingers brushing her soft, silken hair. She stood still, her back was facing me as if waiting for something. My heart raced with anticipation as I inched closer, leaning to match her level and pushing her hair aside, I felt the warmth of her skin against my lips. Her neck was so soft and inviting. My breath caught in my chest as I gently pressed a tender kiss against her neck, savoring the closeness, the intimacy of the moment. I can hear her breaths getting unsteady.

The scent of jasmine filled my senses, and for a heartbeat, everything else seemed to disappear. Time stood still, and I was lost in the magic of the moment  the desire to turn her around and meet her gaze grew even more. And just as I was about to turn her around...

"Bhai,"

"Bhaiya,"

"Aarish bhaiya, waky! waky!"

I groaned loudly hearing Zishaan's barking in my ears. "What the fuck! Why the hell are you shouting Zishaan," I roared at him in my morning husky voice. "Chill, honey. Relax. It’s already noon, you can dream about bhabi later," Zishaan said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, which immediately made me freeze. I blinked, suddenly wide awake as I remembered my dream.

What the actual hell did I just dream of?

'Aarish, you’re not okay,' my inner voice whispered. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief.

"Bhaiya, are you even hearing me?" Zishu screamed making me back to reality. "What do you want?" I asked him trying to keep my voice calm. "Bhai please let's do a bachelorette party, please!" He begged. "You woke me up for this shit?" I asked him in disbelief.

"This is not shit, this is fun bhaiya!!" He whined. I closed my eyes frustrated. "For God's sake, Zishaan act like an adult!" I said annoyed by him. "Bhai am I not your little cute brother?" He asked batting his eyelashes like a girl. I rolled my eyes.

Such a drama queen.

"I am warning you for the last time Zishu Improve yourself," I said like I am his father and he is my son. He rolled his eyes. "Allah knows who will marry you?" I said making his eyes wide. Then a wide smile crept on his face. "Whoever will marry me, she will be very lucky,"  He said proudly. "Of Course," I said with sarcasm dripped voice.

"Leave my marriage, it's your wedding week! Bhai please let's do a little party in the house, I even asked Asif Khalu he also gave permission,"  he pleaded. "Accha, Accha, do whatever you want," I said being uninterested, and got up from my bed. "Yay! Bhaiya I love you," He exclaimed and got out of my room.
