Nine days until wedding
"Extrañarte es mi necesidad
Vivo en la desesperanza
Desde que tu ya no vuelves mas
Sobrevivo por pura ansiedad
Con el nudo en la garganta
Y es que no te dejo de pensar
Poco a poco el corazon
Va perdiendo la fe.....perdiendo la voz" - RBD
At the warehouse
"So far, we haven't really found anything." Rachel trots around a billiard table that hasn't been used for its regular purpose in years.
Charlotte runs her fingers within her hair, tilting her head backwards, "I thought we'd be able to come up with something. It's Mrs. Armstrong, we're talking about here, one would think we'd find people willing to take her down."
Rachel shrugs, walking over to the counter across the wall facing the billiard table upon which Charlotte leaned her upper body. There was a little coffee maker that helped go through the day and the long nights which the team would stay up researching and digging.
"I know. But so far, most of the people we've come across have offenses that I don't think they consider legitimate enough for them to take revenge and some just do not want to take such risks. They have too much to lose. Anyway, from what we were able to find, Mrs. Armstrong usually have information that could directly affect them should they decide to act against her in anyway." Rachel explains. "Coffee?" she asks.
"Thanks!" Charlotte, "Double milk please."
Rachel goes on to take out a jug of milk in the mini fridge next to the small coffee maker, "Don't even think about wanting to know what we found in the database of most of the people she's surrounded with. Especially that particular cop Sam."
"I've never trusted that bastard. Even when I first met her in jail. And now, to know that she was Mon's lover, I don't even know what to think."
Rachel shakes her head, "Who would have thought she'd be more than involved with Mrs. Armstrong."
"You know what? I need a thorough research on that particular cop. I feel like we can get something out of her if we follow her moves." Charlotte suggests, "I think there's more to know."
"We were thinking the same. Heng is already on it. He's been on the cop's tail for a while now." Rachel says, "Here's your coffee." She places the coffee in front of Charlotte while she goes on to lean her lower back against the counter.
"I guess my dear stepmother does not leave any loose ends, does she?" Charlotte sighs as she grabs the cup coffee. "I feel like it's not going to be a piece of cake throwing her off her throne."
"You're right. Everything has been a dead-end so far."
"We can't lose faith though. Now, more than ever, we have got to do whatever that we need to do to bring her down and clear Freen's name."
"Yes," Rachel agrees, "Because, not only is Freen about to lose the love of her life, she's also losing herself in this battle. She can't even be herself. She has to hide who she is just to be with the girl she loves."
Charlotte stands up straight, "speaking of which, where is she?" she asks, "I haven't heard from her since we got here yesterday."
"She's out back, singing and playing the guitar. You know, bittersweet memories and wine moment."
