As soon as Freen enters the office the next day, Becky ambushes her as soon as the door is closed behind her. Becky immediately kisses Freen as soon as she slams the door shut. She embraces Freen's shoulders and hugs her tight, making it impossible for Freen to escape from her grip. All that could be heard around the office was the sound of their moaning and the smacking sound of their kissing.

Freen groans within the kiss, "stop it Becky..." her voice is muffled underneath the constant pressing lips of Becky on hers, "Becky, we can't be doing this."

Becky tilts her head to the side. "We're not doing anything wrong."

Freen keeps her lips moving in sync with Becky's, "you're engaged..."

"You're taken..."

Freen pushes her back to stare at Becky. In her eyes was fearless determination and passion that made her feel dizzy and weak. The hands that were molded against her shoulder blades possessed incredible strength as well as indescribable sensitivity. Becky wouldn't hurt her, but she felt imprisoned in ways she couldn't even begin to understand.

"I can't believe you're thinking this way Becky and the fact that you cared very little for the feelings of your girlfriend is still inconsiderate of you. Why didn't you lie when you were supposed to? Why did you have to tell the truth that you wanted me and you made me admit that I wanted you badly too? Don't you realize that we're hurting people? But then again..." She looks within Becky's twinkling green eyes sparkling with nuance of wanton desires, "Oh what the hell!" Freen sighs.

They both went back in again and this time Freen gives up and kisses her right back, pulling Becky in deeper by grabbing the back of her neck.

Several heartbeats later, Freen realizes that this is something that she shouldn't be doing, "No," she whispered, "I can't do this."

"Why not?"

Why is Becky asking her that question when she knew the answer herself? She lowered her eyes and concentrated within the nook of her collarbone instead.

"Becky, don't you get it? We can't be doing this. You are my boss and I am your employee. Need I remind you all of the things that separate us right now? You have a fiancée and I have a girlfriend. It won't work out Becky. And even if we tried, what we had ended years ago. We do nothing but hurt each other and meet in unusual circumstances. Nothing is ever right."

"Why are you complicating things Freen?" she murmurs, a sad smile darkening the light within her eyes. "I thought we'd establish that there's no way we can be away from each other."

Thoughts of what happened in the bathroom resurface her mind and Freen started losing the feeling in her knees, but she still tried to rationalize. "I'm not complicating anything Becky. Things have already been complicating as it is. You are the one making it seem like a jigsaw puzzle when everything is clear. Don't try to come onto me again, Becky. I don't want to get hurt."

"You don't want to get hurt," she said her sad gaze roaming over her features as if she was a patient clinging on to the tiniest hope from the only doctor that could cure her pain; yet, ironically the one that causes it too. "I don't want get hurt either Freen."

"Well then," Freen steps back from the possible danger of falling within the endless abyss of Beckylessness. "We should steer clear of each other and stay coworkers. I don't want us to bicker anymore. Let's be professionals. So..." she extends her hands towards Becky as if she was getting ready to close a business deal. "Let's stop the fighting and be coworkers."

Becky lowered her head to stare at the extended hand and then looks back up within Freen's eyes. "Alright. Coworkers." She squeezes the girl's hand in hers, slowly running circles on the back of her hand with her thumb. "Coworkers we are." She uses her other free hand to cross two fingers behind her back.
