THE SCHOLAR

Before she woke up Yusra already told her what happened and how she fell unconscious.

Iman: I never believed him... I... I

Fatee: Iman calm down.

Iman:My phone, where's my phone.

She found it on the vanity table, she quickly got up and dialed farouks number, he didn't pick, she kept on calling to the extent he started declining the call.

She let herself fall on the floor, the tears running out like an open tap.

Fatee: Iman be careful.

She said grabbing her.

Iman: I messed up.

Fatee; It's going to be fine.

Iman: Fatee I ruined my marriage.

Fatee: No you didn't iman you're gonna have a child.

Iman: I'm pregnant?

She asked suddenly, fatee was soo confused at that moment.

Fatee: Yes, remember you found out at home.

Every thing came rushing back.

Iman: I treated him soo badly.

There was a knock and yusra slowly opened the door coming in with the doctor.

Dr. fauziyya: Iman why are you on the floor. What happened?

She walked over there helping her up with the help of fatee and then she made her sit on the bed.

Dr.: Are you okay?

She asked checking her.

She was quiet now, only the tears were rolling down, she stared at the floor, lost in thoughts. Her eyes landed in his as she raised her eyes.

He looked at each and everyone in the room and then took an exit.

She was about to get up but the Dr stopped her saying she's not done checking on her. If she knew where to start she would've gotten off the bed running towards him but she has nothing to say.

Dr.: It's nothing serious its shock...

Before she finished iman ran out out of the room meeting him in the living room, she ran towards him hugging him.

He felt sad for a moment, he wanted to hug her back but he hated her, he wanted to console her but he despised her, he wanted to hear what she wanted to say but he doesn't want to hear a word from her, he hated her presence.

He pushed her but she lost balance and she fell letting out a wince.

He bent towards her pointing a finger at her.

Farouk: Stay AWAY from me.

He said leaving the place, but she had her whole world crashing down.

They came down and all they could hear was cries and her whimpers.

Dr.: She should avoid stress and also sitting on the floor, it will have a great impact on her.

Fatee: Okat Thank you Fauzy.

Fauziyya is a friend of theirs that they went to secondary school with but studying different courses made them distant but still in touch.

Fatee: Whatever this is, it has to do with whatever is happening to the both of them.
