Hes not gone

Hayes POV

I get a call saying that Matt got in a car crash so I get in the car and drive to the hospital

"Matthew Espinosa" I ask the lady

"Oh he's in surgery right now, and Taylor Caniff is in surgery as well" she says

I have no clue where cass went she went out with her friends

"Do you guys have Ashlynn Grier" I ask

"No she was transported to the children hospital" she says

"And where's that" I ask

"About 30 minutes away from here" she says

"When will Matt me Taylor be out of surgery" I ask panicking

"Like 2-3 more hours" she says

I leave and go to the children hospital

"Ashlynn Grier" I ask

"Yes room 501" the lady says

I walk into the room and see Ashlynn in a crib awake

"Hey princess" I say

Then a doctor walks in

"Ok are you related to her" the doctor asked

"Yes I'm her dad" I say

"Ok she is ok and you can take her home but overall she is good" he says

"When can I take her home" I ask

"Um today if you would like" he says

I go back to hospital to check on Matt, And Taylor when I get to the waiting room I see all the boys there

"So" I ask them

"Well Matt is fine he just has a broken leg and he's awake if you wanna see him and Taylor well he's still not out of surgery" Jack G says

I go to Matt's room to see him

"So tell me what happened" I ask

"I don't know all I remember is turning and then this truck came out of nowhere and hit us" he says

"The last thing I heard was screaming then I blacked out" he says

"I just hope Taylor is ok" I say while crying

"Come here man, where's cass" Matt says

I say "I don't know with her friends somewhere"

We hug for a little bit when a doctor comes in

"Umm Hayes Grier" she says

"Yes that's me" I say

"Taylor is out of surgery if you want you can visit him all the other guys are already there" she says

I look at Matt he says "go ahead"

So I go to visit Taylor, I walk in to see all the boys.

No one really spoke.

I look up and the doctor comes in.

She says "I need you boys to go back to the waiting room, Taylor is about to have another surgery" we all get up and walk to the lobby.

I see The doors swing open.

I see cass running toward us.

She says "omg is Ashlynn okay"

I hug her tight and say "shhhh she's fine she's at the children hospital"

She says "where's Matt and Taylor"

I say "you can visit Matt he just down the hall, and Taylor, well he's having his second surgery and he's not doing to well, we're getting worried"

Cass's POV

I run down the hall to Matt's room.

I hug him tight and he say "ow ow ow" I say "sorry, I'm just glad your okay"

He says "yeah, I have a broke. Leg and my arm and back is a little sore"

I say "oh my god I'm so glad your fine"

He says "I know, I'm the bestest best friend you could ask for"

I laugh and say "so, what the fuck happen anyway"

He says "I was driving back to your house to drop Ash off when a car comes out and slams into us after that I blacked out"

I hug him again and say "i-is Taylor gonna be okay"

I've known Taylor longer then any of the other guys.

Me and cam grew up with Taylor, Nash, and Hayes, we didn't meet Matt until I was 10 and cam was 14, Matt was 12.

I look at Matt and he swallows some water and says "listen I know Taylor means a lot to you but I-, I just don't know Cass"

I was crying by now.

He says "shhh, it's gonna be okay"

I look at him and nod. I wipe my tears and head back
To the lobby.

5 hours later.......

We were still waiting patiently for Taylor.

I fell asleep on Cameron's shoulder.

He taps me on the shoulder and I see the doctor.

She says "I'm am so very sorry, we did all we could for Taylor but it just wasn't enough"

I start crying. Hayes tries to hug me but I push him away.

I scream "No, no he Can't be dead, how could you do this"

The doctor says "I'm so sorry"

I was on the ground with my head in my hands.

I run down the hall and look through the window of Taylor's room.

I go into the room and security holds me back I yell "NO LET ME THE FUCK GO, LET ME SEE HIM"

2 hours later......

We had been at the hospital all day.

I decide to visit Matt.

He doesn't know about Taylor yet.

I sit down on the edge of his bed and say "T-Taylor, p-, passed awa-"

I start crying.

Matt hugs me and we both cry.

Matt wipes my tears and says "this is all my fucking fault"
