The morning was as loud as ever. Louis could hear the trainees and knights getting ready earlier than usual.
The second prince was all ready himself, and without any waste of time, he walked towards Ivor's study room.
Greeted by all the guards he ran to on his way, he had never seen so many around the palace's hallways in a while.
It only made him think more of slowing down the process of his plan until everything calms down a little.
A knocking on the door was heard by the king's advisor.
"Good morning"
The prince smiled, saying while walking in.
"Good morning, Prince Louis"
Ivor smiled back, replying.
While Louis was about to walk towards the training room, Ivor's voice stopped as he said,
"Please have a seat"
The prince sat down, wondering what they were going to talk about, yet Ivor did not say much.
He handed him a letter.
Louis looked at the stamp of Lord Morris, then back at the familiar handwriting.
He immediately recognised it and ripped it open.
Reading through those lines with a serious face without even catching his breath.
'I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS'
He thought before saying.
"I NEED TO GO"
The prince ran towards the door.
"Sorry Ivor"
He said before rushing outside.
It was his one and only chance to catch Asher and the others before they left the gate.
'Did he write this two days ago? Did he do anything yet?'
Louis's mind was filled with questions, and for the first time, he had no clear answers.
Some of the guards were surprised to see him running, but as long as their prince looked alright, they had no right to interfere.
Running across the garden to the courtyard before he was able to lock eyes on the open gate.
The knights and trainees were leaving.
And since Louis did not want to draw any more attention towards himself, he had to find a way to make Asher or Ezra notice him before it was too late.
The prince took one look around before he spotted those boxes.
He knew the extra weapons would be in there since he was a trainee himself not long ago.
He immediately grabbed a bow and arrow, then took his shot.
Since Asher was leading the way, Ezra took place at the very end of the crowd.
His horse suddenly frightened and reared up, which surprised Ezra.
"Are you alright?"
He immediately jumped off to check on his horse and calm him down, which went well.
Ezra noticed an arrow stuck into the ground.
That was what frightened his horse.
"Where did this come from?"
He said while looking up.
It took him a while to spot the second prince standing next to him.
Louis tried to catch his breath for a good moment before he spoke.
