Chapter 5

Aleks' POV

I shook, today was going to be a long day.

I walked around the city, stomach churning, eyes averting, lungs hurting. Ha, I could make that a song.
My thoughts were interrupted when someone tapped on my shoulder.

"You sure your ready for this Aleks?" My acquaintance Jake said.

"As I'll ever be, and code names remember!" I replied annoyed.

"Sorry Immortal," Jake said rolling his eyes.

"By the way, I don't think Jakey is a good code name," I said hitting his shoulder.
He just shrugged as we walked to are destination

My first heist, 'Jakey' taught me everything I needed to know.

I got this, right?

We approached an old grocery store.

Jakey said it should be easy.
Walking into the alleyway beside it, I noticed it was trashed. Seriously who keeps these clean?

"Alright, just climb this fence and we will be behind the store!" Jakey yelled.
I shushed Jake.
I'm more professional then him sometimes, jeez.

Jakey climbed over the fence quickly.

It's easy, just look at Jakey! I thought getting nervous.

"Come on," Jake said annoyed.

I nodded and started climbing. I reached the top of the fence, then jumped down. Not noticing the bit of my hoodie that had been torn off.

Aleks' POV

I filled my backpack with food. I'm so glad Jake had chosen this for first heist.

Jake had a guy on the inside you might say. They helped us out with the alarms.

"Alright Immortal let's go!" Jakey told me.
I nodded my black hoodie and beanie covering my face.
We went out the back door when a ringing was heard.
"FUCK," yelled Jakey.
I was so confused, that couldn't be an alarm. Looking above the door he opened, I noticed it was an emergency exit.

Jakey you fuck.

I was about to run out, but he stopped me.

"Sorry Immortal" Jake whispered

"JAKEY WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled before everything went black.

Kevins POV

As I was walking through town, I heard a loud sound coming from the street ahead of me. I ran that way to discover a building had been broken into. Looking to the alleyway beside it I saw a man, who seemed a bit older then me. He was running away from it.
I look towards the alley, either that man robbed this place, or that guy was attacked by a badger. Either one was a reason worth checking it out.

I snuck down the alley, and over the fence in it.

This place's security is amazing, I thought rolling my eyes.

Finally, when I reached the back of the store. I saw something, no someone laying inside of it. He had long brown hair, covering most of his face, and a torn hoodie. Just a worthless thief. Then what I did next suprised me. I snuck inside, grabbing the other male. I picked him up, his head resting on my shoulder. Then continued to carry him away. The thought of cameras never crossed my mind. Luckily, I wasn't caught on any.

I made it a ways from the store, heading into yet enother alley. Then, I set down the thief.

It was so quiet, I could bearly believe I was still in the city. After sitting there for a while, enjoying the peace, I noticed the thief start to wake.

Aleks' POV

My eyes opened, but I wasn't where I expected. In a different alley, in a different part of town it seemed. Jakey wouldn't have took me here, would he? My thoughts were interrupted by another male shifting. I jumped up quickly, shocked by another presence.

"Damn Dude" I mumbled, looking at the stranger.

His sleek black hair, even his rugged clothes seemed to complimented him.

He was about to run when I grabbed his shoulder
"Wait-" I mumbled.
He looked at me confused.

"How did I get here?" I asked.

The stranger explained he took me here.

"But, why?" I thought outloud, looking into his eyes

He simply shrugged and started to run off.

"I'm Aleks by the way!" I yelled his way.

He turned back and mumbled "Kevin."
