'Scarlet wake up' something told me too but I was to deep in sleep to listen. 'Wake up' it shouted again this time I woke up groaning and sore from the day before. I blinked a few times and sat up.
I looked around heart beating faster and faster. Something was on my bed by my feet. I grabbed it and put in my lap. A green and blue duffel bag that's weird. A note was on it so I picked it up and turned on the lamp to read it.

Run! They've found us. If this bag appeared in your bed that means your life is officially in danger. Your father and I have been trying to prevent this for a while but we've failed you and your twin brother. They have him don't let them get you too.

That's when I started to panic. Who has my brother? Where is mom and dad? Where do I go? Thud!!!
What in the world was that? I looked around my room to see a ginormous cyclops standing in my room wearing leather armor with a a chain around its neck.
My first reaction was to scream but I decided against it. I looked down to see what I was wearing. Jeans a green t-shirt and a dark hoodie that should work. I quickly grabbed my bag and jumped through my opened window landing in the thorn bushes below my window. Then I took off running without a glance back.
