Hey guys... I bet none of you remember what has happened. I didn't either since I haven't updated in like... Over a year... Whoops... To be honest, I don't remember what I was going to type for this chapter and I haven't played the game in a long time so... Don't go to hardcore on me. By the way, I think I will be switching to third person... I've become more used to writing in that point of view so... Yeah. Hopefully you enjoy.
"You don't want to do that." Lily said, staring down the barrel of the gun and trying to stall and distract them until she could do something more efficient.
"Oh? And why's that?" The man asked, smirking at the helplessness in her voice.
"Because, if you kill us then..." She hesitated for a moment, trying to think of something to say. "Then the rest of us will come." The man faltered slightly before straightening back up.
"Bullshit. There was only one car." The man smirked. 'Fuck... What now?' She thought, trying not to let any emotions show through."No, only one car was hit. The other car was behind us. And I'm certain that the rest of our group is on their way. That is, if they aren't already here, just waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And let me tell you, there is one man that is insane. You do NOT want to be on the other side of his gun." Lily said, hoping her lie was enough to scare them. The men all glance around at each other before the one holding the gun up to her head pulls Lily to his chest and turns around, looking out of the garage to see if there is anyone else out there.
"If you're out there, come out now with your hands raised where I can see them." The man said. Everyone could tell he was frightened. She smirked to herself then dropped her face back to a stern look.
"They don't care if I die. They care about the others. And if you lay a hand on them, you're dead. Simple as that. And, unfortunately for everyone, The three of us are a package deal. So, just leave before the insane fuckers come out and murder you all without mercy." She said with a cold tone. Lily was actually extremely frightened. She was telling the lie of her life, after all. She stood silently as the men contemplated whether they were going to leave or not. They stood for around three minutes before smirking.
"We would be dead now if you had more people." He turned Lily around, facing Ellie and Joel. "Say goodbye to your family, bitch." She closed her eyes tightly as Ellie and Joel screamed at the man. He just continued laughing until the laughing abruptly stopped. Lily hesitantly opened her eyes to see the two other men looking shocked at the man behind Lily. Joel was looking thankful at the man for some reason and Ellie was looking extremely relieved.
"Drop the weapons." A voice came from behind her. It was a masculine voice of someone she had never heard before. Slowly, the men all dropped their weapons and raised their hands. Lily didn't bother to look behind her at why all the men were surrendering, but ran over to Ellie, hugging her tightly as Joel slowly came over and stood in front of the both of us. Lily turned her head to see what was going on and looked shocked and confused. There was a man standing there. He was tall with dull green eyes and dirty blonde hair. When Lily looked passed the man, she saw an army of people pointing their guns at the men, and maybe them as well. "Now scatter." The man commanded. As soon as those words left his mouth, the three men that held them captive ran off. He walked over to them as the army watched the street.
