I groggily woke up, moaning in the process. My head feels like someone is repetitively hitting it with a sledge hammer. I slowly opened my eyes to find Bill in front of me killing off the infected with the two people who knocked me out. I jumped up, ignoring the pain for a split second, and grabbed a gun from my backpack that was so conveniently on back. I shot many infected until one grabs me from the behind. I started screaming loudly until a gunshot deafens me and the infected person falls to the ground. I look to Bill to see his back turned to me, so I looked to the man to see him looking at me.
"You should be more careful." He tells me. Pfftt as if he could tell me what to do.
"F*ck off!" I tell him. Man, my throat hurts. I wonder how long I have been asleep. The man is about to say something, but freezes and shoots behind me. I turn around to see an infected coming after me. I gain my abilities back and shoot most of them, while following Bill into a house. When we finally entered the house, Bill showed the man how to make something, I don't know what because I wasn't really paying attention. I turn to see the girl messing with my books.
"Don't touch those!" I whisper-shout at her. She rolls her eyes at me but doesn't reply. "Who are you anyway?" I ask. I cannot go another minute without finding out who these people are!
"I could ask you the same question." She tells me, in a "None-of-your-business" voice.
"Need I remind you that YOU came into MY territory, not the other way around?" I asked her, a slight edge to my tone.
"Whatever." She rolls her eyes at me. "I'm Ellie." I stood in shock at her. No way in H*LL is that my sister. She waves her hand in front of my face and I clear my throat.
"I'm Lilly." I say. I watch her as she slowly puts two and two together. She threw her arms around me and screamed in my ear
"DO YOU KNOW HOW F*CKING WORRIED I WAS? I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! MARLENE WAS PI$$ED OFF WHEN SHE SAW YOU WEREN'T HERE!! I'M SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU!" Okay, I think my eardrums just bursted. Wait a second.. ELLIE!! I threw my arms around her, hugging her back. I almost cried into her shoulder with how happy I was. She introduced me to Joel and told me what they were doing here. I don't really like Ellie being here with this 'Joel' person, but I suppose if Ellie and trust him, so can I.
