Rain's POV:
It was the last day of my days at the academy, and I was supposed to be in team two, along with Obito Uchiha, Rin, and Kakashi Hatake. I didn't really like a lot of people, but Rin and Obito were my closefriends. Kakashi was...barely on the verge of tolerable.It probably had something to do with the fact that I could see into the souls and minds of everyone around me. I had never told anyone about my abilities, except for my parents, and didn't plan to. I walked slowly to the academy, my hands deep in my pockets as a light drizzle started.
Obito: "Hey! Rain!" Obito yelled from behind me. I hunched my shoulders and stopped mid-step, turning my head a fraction of an inch.
Me: "Hey, Obito." I mumbled.
Obito: "It's awesome that we're on the same team! Too bad we're stuck with Kakashi, huh?"
Me: "Tell me about it...So where's Rin?"
Obito: "Oh! She's already at the academy. We are going to be so late!" he said, smiling.
I shrugged.
Me: "They'll deal. So I've got a new prank in mind. Want to help?"
Obito: "Yeah! What are we going to do?"
Me: "Let's just say it involves a chalk-board eraser and a sliding door. It's a small-scale prank, but still a prank. And if our senseifalls for it, then I am going to completely zone out while we train." I said, pulling out my iPod and turning it up to full volume to 'Because of You' by Nickelback.
Obito and I walked slowly to the academy, and walked into class a half-hour late. I sat at my seat quietly, and Obito walked in loudly, making a huge scene. I sighed and leaned against the back of my chair, propping my feet up on the table and listening to my iPod.
Sensei: "Team two: Obito Uchiha. Rin. Kakashi Hatake. And Rain Hyuga." said our sensei.
I shrugged and turned my iPod up louder. The other students got put into their teams, and I ignored everyone. All of the other student's senseis came to pick them up, but ours was late. Perfect. I turned off my iPod and put it away in my pocket. I nodded to Obito, who got a chair. I stood as well and got a chalk-board eraser and climbed up on the chair, positioning it so it would fall the second someone opened the door. I leaned against the wall on the other end of the room and stuck my hands deep in my pockets after turning my iPod on again. We waited for a good two hours until my Byakugan picked up someone coming in. I turned off my iPod and put it up, lifting my head slightly to see if my prank would work. A jounin with bright blond hair walked in...and the eraserfell square on his head. My cheek twitched in a smile, Obito was laughing, Rin was apolgizing big time to the man, and Kakashi was rolling his eyes. I walked over to the man, still using my Byakugan, and held my hand out. The man seemed to be trust-worthy enough: somewhat obnoxious, but very loyal and had big dreams.
Me: "Hi. I'm-"
???: "Introductories in a minute." he said, and led us up to the roof, then leaned against the rail. "Ok. I am Minato Namikaze, and I'm your sensei. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourselves. You know, your hopes and dreams, likes and dislikes, and hobbies. You on the right. You go first." he said, pointing to Obito.
Obito: "I'm Obito Uchiha. I like to play pranks and train. I dislike people who call me a loser, my hobbies are training and thinking of new pranks, and my dream is to be a great shinobi!"
Minato: "Good, good. Now, how about you on the left?" Minato said, pointing to Rin.
Rin: "I'm Rin. I like reading and writing, dislike people who are mean to others, my hobbies are training, reading, and writing, and my dream is to be a medic-nin like my mother."
