"Anthony!" She looked overly excited to see me and I fought back some tears that threatened to fall. I didn't reply, I only gripped tightly onto the back of Ians shirt and burried my face into his back and he knew that I didn't want to see her.

"Go away Kallel. Anthony doesn't want you here can't you see that?" Ian gave her a slight attitude.

"Awh, but can't I just tell him how much I miss him and want him to be mine again?" She was giving Ian puppy dog eyes and a sarcastic tone.

"He doesn't want you back." Ian was trying not to yell at her. And he's right, I don't want her back.

"Of corse he wants me back, you're just speaking for him." She gave a sly grin obisly wanting to see how hurt I am at the moment.

"W-well, he's..... He's taken!" Ian raised his voise a little and grabbed one of my hands out from behind him and intertwined his fingers with mine. My cheeks were burning and I was in complete shock and Kallel as well. Her expression changed from sarcastic to angry and she scoffed and walked out of the building. Ian let go of my hand and turned to face me ignoring my flushed cheeks.

"Hey, uh sorry dude. I uh... just had to get her to leave. I'm going to get the keys and we can get going. Mind grabbing the bags from the car?" He was looking at the ground and pulled his keys from his pocket handing them to me.

"Sure, and thanks for what you did." I smiled at him and he went up to the fornt desk for the keys and I exited the building for the bags.

The warm air hit my skin when I exited the building inhailing the salty air that I was surrounded by. A red mini van pulled into the parking lot with a screaming mother and her young child who was in tears, I grimmaced and unlocked Ians car. My mother used to yell at me all the time when I lived with her, I can't express how happy I was when I got out of that hell hole. I grabbed the bags and locked the car, when I opened the door I was greeted by a smiling Ian who took one of the bags and walked me to the boat we would be taking.

When we got to the boat we tossed the bags onto the deck and I looked around taking in every detail despritly trying to remember this moment for it would be some of the most fun I have ever had. The two Jet skis were on either side of the deck, one green and the other purple. The wheel and all of the controlls, navigation, and radar were positioned under a yellow canopee. There were three fishing polls that we hadn't asked for leaning on the right side of the boat, it was perfect. Ian wrote down the coordinates of the dock so we could get back and he started the boat. I sat on the very front of the boat and pulled off my shirt wanting to tan a bit with the wind blowing my hair everywhere.

"Hold onto something Ant, you don't want to go overboard do you?" He chuuckled and gave me a sly smile. I really hope he doesn't try something because I'll pull him in along with me.

"You'll go down with me, Ian." I smiled at him then turned my attention back to the ever going mass ocean before me and the shrinking land behind us along with all bad thoughts.

We got to a spot with no land in sight and no other boats, we were completely alone out here and that's what I want, to relax with my best friend.

"Want to eat something before we go anywhere Anthony?" He asked and started to pull out some food and drinks for us to eat.

"Yes!" I sat on the deck in front of him and he had already taken his shirt off as well, prbably when I wasn't paying any attenton. "This is going to be great!" I was bobbing up and down smiling happily enjoying everything.

"Here, and yes this is going to show I am way better at jet skiing than you." he passed me my sandwich and a soda. I took a giant bite of the sandwich.

"Yeah, right. In your dreams!" I said with a mouth full of food that made me look like a squirrel.

"Don't talk with your mouth full." Ian scolded me playfully and I swollowed but didn't reply.

We finished our food and were now ready to have fun in the blazing hot sun and cool ocean.
