I wove through the trees just enjoying being free, and not having limitations to where I can run or being shut in a cage. The sun is shinning through the trees casting a gentle glow on the ground ahead. The lightest touch of breeze went past now and then. This felt like heaven. I was so caught up with the forest that I almost forgot that there was someone else with me. I turn around to actually meet the wolf who saved me. He had tan fur with piercing light brown eyes. I go into a play stance wanting to run around some more. He rolled his eyes at me but fallowed. We chased each other around for a while until he pushed me into a lake. I heard him let out a wolffish laugh and start rolling on the ground making fun of me. Well I guess now is the perfect time for a sneak attack. I wait till he is close enough to the water then... SPLASH. HA Now he is soaking wet from the lake water. Then silence. I can't help myself. I let out howls of laughter at the glare he in giving me right now. I walk out of the water and shake off. I shift back with my clothes on so April can dry off. He does the same. He has dirty blonde hair and light brown eyes like his wolf. He looks about twenty and is like 7 inches taller then me. And no he is not my mate.

"Thanks for saving me" I start

"You welcome" he says back

"You didn't let me finish. I was saying, thanks for saving me but I had everything under control"

"Ya because having silver hand cuffs on is having it under control"

"Well at least I didn't charge onto hunter ground without backup" I start to yell.

"Now that it why I don't like to travel with wolves born and raised in a pack" he starts to yell too.

"WELL I WASNT BORN OR RAISED IN A PACK" I yell.

With that i stomp off and sit by the lake.

'Hey April, do you think that we are going to find our mate'

'I do but one thing that is troubling me is that I figured that we might have silver in our blood' she starts.

'So?' I ask.

'Try it on mister rouge' she says.

'Fine'

I take a sharp rock and swipe it across my skin. I wait till blood pierces the top. I walk over to the rouge.

"Give my your arm" I tell him before I grab his arm and not letting him answer.

I let my blood drip on to his arm, and as soon as it asked contact he let's out a yelp.

"What the hell was that"

"My blood" I answer as I go was off the cut in the river.

"And about earlier-" he starts to say but I cut him off.

"It's ok, I'm use to that by now" I tell him not wanting for him to apologize. Cause then I have to apologize and then it just turns into the apology circle.

Then I smell something coming our way with great speed. It smells metallic, kind of like copper. Then I realize what it is. I move out of the way at last second as the bullet implants itself into the tree behind me.

"We better get moving" I tell him before I shift and run into the woods with the rouge behind me.

'So April, what where you telling me about the silver in our blood' I say to her as I am running, missing a tree by a hair.

'Well I figured if we have silver in our blood and our mates a werewolf, then will he be able to mark us?'

'I don't know' I honestly tell her.

By now the sun was almost set, sending a soft glow through the trees. But I couldn't enjoy it. What April said was still turning over and over in my head.

'Look theirs a town ahead' April warns me and snaps me out of my trance.

I stop on the edge of the road making sure that their are no people around, but just in case I go behind a tree to shift. When I come back around I see that the guy, that i still don't know his name, did the same. We fallow the road into town not talking of a while. He decides to break the ice.

"So I just realized that I don't know your name"

"It's Isla, and yours?"

"Ben"

"Cool, so we should go into town cause hunters or what ever shot that bullet can't track us down" I explain to him.

We walk in silence again. Then I start to kick a pebble down the road over and over again until it rolls out of reach. When we finally get into town we immediately turn around and walk the other way before they catch us or more importantly, me.
