How you met: Steve Rodgers

Your days at Shield were getting busier by the minute. Crime seems to be going up left right and centre. You might as well be living inside the Helicarrier with the amount of time you spend in it. It's part if the job description though and you love what you do so how can you complain?

Fury has called you into his office so you save the Rorke files you were going through and march off to him. You knock on the door lightly.

"Come in." You push the door open and step inside, closing it behind you. As you take a seat opposite Fury he puts down his newspaper and leans on the desk with his elbows, smiling slightly.

"Agent Frost, it's nice to see you again."

"You too sir, what's seems to be the problem?" He laughs under his breathe.

"Always to the point Daniel, that's what I like about you." He leans back into his chair. "I'm putting you out in the field again. Shadow is back in the war zone." You never thought you'd hear that name ever again as a wide smile spreads across your face.

"I can't believe I've lasted this long. When do I begin?"

"About that....Captain?" The door opens behind you and you stand up in courtesy as a blonde man in a blue, white and red spandex outfit walks in.

You can't keep you eyes off him. He's the same hight as you and you're pretty tall. You look back to Fury then to the blonde.

"Captain Frost meet Captain Rodgers A.K.A Captain America." He sticks out his hand in which you take firmly.

"It's an honour sir."

"The honour is all mine. I've heard a lot about the Shadow project, I admire your work." His smile sends a warm feeling through your stomach.

"You two will be heading out to the Himalayas on a covert black ops assignment. Radio silence as of landing, infiltrate and gather information. Here are your files." He slides two folders in your direction as you take one each. "Three days prep, dismissed."

You shake Fury's hand and leave his office. You hear someone calling out to you. "Captain Frost?"

You turn around and come face to face with 'Captain America'. "Captain Rodgers, what can I do for you?"

"Please, just Steve. I was just thinking...maybe...only if you wanted to, uh, read the files together? Over lunch?" He nervously rubs the back of his neck.

"Sure, meet me at the cafeteria at 12:30 yeah?" He smiles and nods before shaking your hand, not letting go for a few seconds then walking in the opposite direction.
