Venice has always been protective of his little brother sky. Even being a 5 year old he became a tiny bodyguard for his little sky.
But today, today was war.
Because Venice’s precious little brother, Sky—his tiny, innocent, two-year-old angel—was under attack.
And the attacker?
None other than Phoenix, his cousin and best friend, the flirting monster.

It all began when Venice caught Phoenix holding Sky’s hand in the playroom.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” Venice yelled, dramatically dropping his toy sword as he stomped toward them.
Phoenix blinked. “Holding his hand?”
Sky, still sucking on his pacifier, gave Venice a confused look.
Venice gasped and yanked Sky into his arms. “He’s a baby! You can’t just go around holding his hand!”
Phoenix tilted his head. “But he’s so cute, Ven! Look at his chubby cheeks!”
Sky giggled as Phoenix poked his cheeks.
Venice shielded his brother. “Don’t touch him!”
Phoenix pouted. “But I love him.”
Venice choked. “YOU WHAT?!”
Sky clapped his hands. "Phee!”
Venice nearly fainted. “He already knows your name?! WHAT IS GOING ON?”

Venice dragged Sky away and sat him on his lap, holding him tightly.
“Listen here, Phoenix Theerapanyakul,” he said seriously. “Sky is off-limits.”
Phoenix crossed his arms. “Why?”
“Because he’s my baby brother!”
Phoenix blinked. “So?”
Venice gasped. “So?! SO?! You—you flirt with everyone! I won’t let you corrupt him!”
Phoenix huffed. “That’s not fair, Ven. I only flirt with the cute ones.”
Venice pointed at him. “EXACTLY! That’s why I don’t trust you!”
Phoenix grinned. “Then I’ll just marry him so you can trust me forever.”
Venice screamed.

For the rest of the day, Venice refused to let Phoenix near Sky.
At snack time, Venice sat between them.
During nap time, Venice barricaded the baby crib.
When Phoenix tried to give Sky his teddy bear, Venice threw it across the room.
“I SAID NO FLIRTING!”
Phoenix groaned. “Ven, you’re being dramatic.”
Venice pointed aggressively. “Says you, the flirting monster!”
Phoenix sighed. “Okay, fine. I’ll stop.”
Venice narrowed his eyes. “You swear?”
Phoenix nodded. “Yes.”
Venice eyed him suspiciously. “Good.”
Phoenix smirked.
And then—
He turned to Sky and whispered, “Will you marry me, Sky?”
Sky giggled and clapped. “Yesh!”
Venice collapsed.
“NOOOOOOOOOO!”
Phoenix grinned victoriously.

Venice lay dramatically on the carpet, covering his face. “It’s over. I’ve failed. My baby brother is—taken.”
Phoenix patted his shoulder. “It’s okay, Venny. You’ll be my best man at the wedding.”
Venice glared. “I hate you.”
Phoenix giggled. “Love you too!”
Sky clapped. “Phee cute!”
Venice groaned.
This was the worst day of his life.
