Chapter 13: Target Conformed

Sitting on the rooftop in Manhattan and looking at the empire state building. You listened in on Halcron communications. They were talking about Advocate, Komarova, and you.

You wondered if there was any Superhuman problems that would interest you. Help someone in need of getting away from horrid experiments but no calls were made. Most don't make it out of those buildings nowadays thanks to technology improvements on Security and Containment.

"Sergeant Burke is helping us bring in equipment in the City Boat. Navy Seals giving us some good shit, some dolphins think we're National Guard." On the Halcron communications, some Sergeant Burke seems to be a small team player in helping getting Halcron weapons and other shit, he's next.

Jumping off the rooftop. You jumped and glided thought the city. You eventually started climbing a building, breaking glass. The spiders could do this too but you were Extremely Heavy due to you're Symbiote Mass and you don't stick.

Getting on the building, you used you're hunt Ability to find him. He seemed to be at the docks. This shall be quick.

The area was full of Black SUVs with black tinted windows. And trucks to disguise as different companies These Halcron troops had equipment given to them by The Navy Seals. Even though the Military didn't know who they were supporting, you didn't go after them in suspicion but you didn't trust them. Infact, you had a hard time trusting anyone in the military or in the government thanks to what happened in T/N.

"Any movement?" A Halcron soldier said to a sniper on his radio.

"Nope, all clear here. Expect for the amount of dots in the city. Heh."

You grabbed his mouth and stabbed him with you're claw on you're right arm then grabbing his Sniper as he tried to scream with you holding him up with the claw, coughing and choking on blood instead. You then consumed him and took his disguise.

You then looked around the area, using the Sniper to aim for Burke. He was talking and arguing with a few of his men. Something must've happened. You were about to blow his head off and kill a few behind him but you stopped since he might have some information about the higher ups.

Putting the sniper down. You jumped down into the street, landing and crushing a parked taxi. People looked at you in surprise but they didn't run because they didn't know you were reaper thanks to the disguise.

You then walked towards the location, consuming a guard in the process who got confused why the sniper came down.

"What's taking you're former pals so long? Fucking Cheap shit dolphins." A Halcron soldier said. Being impatient of when the boats Will arrive.

"Would you shut up? They'll be here soon." Burke then went on a computer to talk to them. You consumed Guards that weren't watching.

"Hey. Weren't there more people around?"

After one of the guards said that, you charged at Burke, he stared at you for a few seconds before his eyes widened in surprise and shock.

Throwing him to the floor, you punched him multiple times, breaking bones and rupturing flesh then finally consuming him. In his Memories, you learned that he was also helping ship canisters of brood into the city and that the trading between Halcron and the US Military has started increasing due to Henderson asking for more. And most importantly, Halcron sold some modified version of the brood virus onto the black market in New York to someone Unknown who is well known in New York as a Crime Lord. Hmm...

"Oh my God!" One of the guards said as you consumed Burke. "Fuck! that's L/N!" The other Guard said as he turned off the safety of his Rifle.

Instead of shooting you like you expected, they put their guns down and put their hands up. "Alright, alright! We give up! You'll never see us again."
