Chapter Three 

Shane's POV 

Drew pulled away from our perfect little moment, smiled, giggled and then skipped away to the bathroom. 

Oh that giggle... 

That cute, adorable, little giggle. 

He has no idea what that does to me... 

I grabbed my glasses from by bedside table and decided to get dressed. 

I pulled on my black skinny jeans, an Iron Maiden t-shirt and wandered lazily into the Kitchen to get some breakfast. As I got into the kitchen, I saw Laurence making a cup of coffee... 

Wait, why is he shirtless? Now, I've known Laurence for a long, long time and I've never seen Laurence shirtless. He's always been so insecure about himself and never allowed anyone to see him with any flesh exposed. Was there something wrong with Laurence? 

Jeez, he looks rough...and almost on the verge of tears, is he okay?...hmmm, Something's not right. 

"Laurence, are you okay?" 

He turned to face me, tears welling up in his eyes as he brought his hands up to his face and fell to his knees and sobbed. I ran to his side and placed my hand on his shoulder. Something had clearly upset Laurence, so much so, that he just couldn't hold it in any longer. 

"Laurence, what's wrong?" 

I asked him, concern laced in my voice. 

"I-I-It's n-n-nothing"  

Laurence said, his voice shaking and breaking into a sob. 

"Its clearly not nothing if you're crying your eyes out because of it"  

"I-I-It's about K-K-Kier"  

Oh god...Is something wrong with kier? Is he okay? Oh my god... 

"What about Kier? Is he okay?"  

Now I'm panicking.  

"He split up with his girlfriend and he's absolutely distraught..." 

Really? He's upset because Kier and his girlfriend split up? Shane, you panic too much... 

"B-but that's not why I'm upset...I'm upset because...I...I..."  

So if he's not upset about Kier and his girlfriend then what is it?...WAIT. NO WAY... 

"I'm madly in love with him..." 

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. 

"B-b-but I know he'll never feel the same and he'll never love me and he's straight and-"  

He trailed off into another tearful outburst. Oh Laurence... 

"Shane, you don't understand. I-I-I love him so much. I would do anything for that man. Anything just see him smile his beautiful smile. Anything to not see him sad...but he'll never feel the same. I feel safe and happy when he's around. He sends shockwaves through my veins but he was upset over his girlfriend...a girl...he's straight" 

Awww Laurence was completely love-struck over Kier... 

But I don't think this is just some high-school crush, no, this is serious.
