(4 hours later, around 9:20am)

Drew's POV

I managed to prise my eyes open even though they were repelling against me, as though to avoid the ever looming hangover.

Shane's arms were tightly wrapped around my waist in a protective manner. I've always thought of Shane as my protector, my saviour...my knight in shining armour!

He was hugging me from behind so I turned to face Shane. He looked so peaceful when he slept.

I placed a small, affectionate kiss on his nose. Shane smiled his adorable little smile and woke up.

"Good morning, beautiful"

Awww I find it so sweet when he calls me beautiful!

"Morning my fellow timid!"

I said back to him, pecking his lips as I did so...

I loved Shane's lips. They were big, soft and so perfect. As cliché as it sounds, its like his lips were made to be kissed by mine.

Shane smiled at me and then groaned, his eyes quinting because of the sunlight. We were both nursing a hangover after all.

"Urgh, what time is it?"

Shane asked in his Deep, and currently slightly groggy, voice.

"About time you got your lazy arse out of bed!"

I then hug-tackled by boyfriend and made him fall off the bed, taking the duvet with us. We rolled over several times as I tickled him and I eventually ended up straddling Shane's hips. When I realized what position we were in, I blushed feverishly.

Shane placed his hands around my waist and pulled me gently down towards him. I put my hands either side of him on the floor to support myself.

Our faces were about half an inch apart...oh, did I mention we were only in our boxers?

I leaned down to kiss Shane passionately, his hands trailing down my sides...

"Yo timids, I-"

Luke had walked in on us.

"Uh...nevermind"

Luke left the room swiftly but not before winking at me and Shane. It was then that I blushed again and decided to get off of Shane, so I stood up and held my hand out to help Shane up.

Shane stood up quickly. I hooked my arms around his neck and Shane placed his hands on my waist.

We stared into each other's eyes.

When I looked into Shane's eyes, it was like everything just stopped existing except from me and him...just the two of us.

Our foreheads were touching.

"You're beautiful, Drew, you know that?"

Shane whispered to me, sweeping my fringe to the side.

We shared a loving, sweet kiss. I wanted this moment to last forever. Everything was so perfect. Shane was perfect. Our relationship was perfect...

Well...

Almost perfect.

There are two non-perfect things about mine and Shane's relationship...

1) We haven't actually "done it" yet.

And

2) Despite being together for so long, we haven't said "I love you" yet.

You can now see that we're called "The Timids" for a reason...

We're shy...

Afraid...
