Davis pulled his phone out his Black Jean pocket checking the time, he sat at the table alone as he waited patiently for the mysterious woman. He was betted into a blind date and unfortunately he lost. He would've just ditched and never came but he had nothing better to do so why not.
"Maybe ditching was good"He mumbled seeing it was almost 12 he sighed waving a waiter to his table to pay for the wine he bought for the two deciding to call it a night. "She didn't show?" His waiter who he discovered name was Moni frowned as she brought a check towards the table.
"Nawl just gonna call it a night"He smiled appreciating her kindness pulling out the gold card placing it on the check holder, "well to make you feel any better my boy friend cheated on me " she blurted out laughing a little which quickly turnt into a frown.
"Damn a pretty girl like you? Crazy."Davis complimented sizing the girl up taking in her features she was pretty he couldn't lie who ever fumbled a girl like this should be ashamed. (ok rizzler)
"Thank you handsome" She smiled before picking up the check placing it on the layer as it made three beeps letting her know he paid."what time do you get off?" Davis asked checking his watch, if he was gonna do anything he wouldn't mind her tagging along.
"I close but thats in 30 minutes."He hummed nodding his head pulling out his wallet he dropped a 50 on the table before getting from his chair, "I'll wait for you".

Moni pressed the code into the Restaurant's Alarm after a long shift, she sighed pulling the apron off her body holding it in her hands as she walked out the building before the alarm locked the doors.
"Lord i should've asked him which car"she groaned as she walked the side walk only to hear a honk as davis drove up to a empty spot she smiled as he got out the car opening the door, "glad i had nothing to do" he joked making her frown.
"I'm sorryy I didn't think it would take me that long" She placed her bag on the cars floor before he stepped into his vehicle getting hit with a nice aroma of vanilla and red interior,"this is nicee" she felt on the leather dashboard before placing her seatbelt on then checking herself in the mirror she didn't look too rough after her shift.
The two rode through downtown as they talked about literally anything she loved that he could keep a convo with her and he was funny she turnt to the side taking in the man's presence as he hands stayed on the wheel focused on the highway, a night she would remember.
- "I really had fun tonight davis its been a minute since I did"She said truthfully as she held onto his hand as the man walked her to her door. For someone she met tonight he was showing her more than anybody else had.
"Me too, I hope we can do again"The two smiled at each other before she placed a small kiss on the corner of his cheek closer to his lips before pulling away unlocking her door, "Bye davis" she waved before closing the door.
