Carter's POV
"Carter!" Zeke runs in the apartment. "What? Is something wrong?" I ask worriedly. "Is you dad home?" He asks out of breath. "No, he's at work. Why?"
"It's Alice." He tells me. "Alice? What happened now?" I ask. "She's with someone else! They're holding hands, and hugging. I saw her kiss him." He tells me. I stand in disbelief "I'll kill her!" I yell at him. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Your pregnant." He tells me like I didn't know. "I know, but but... UGH!! I hate her so much!!" "I know I know." He tells me in attempts to calm me down. "We can't just tell your dad. We'll wait till he gets home. For right now we'll go find her." Zeke and I run out the door frantically searching everywhere for the bitch. Till I see her, I can't get a good look at the guys face though. We continue to follow them and I still have no idea who he is. They walk holding hands like its nothing like it was him she's getting married to, not you know... MY DAD! I'm gonna hurt her! In going to hurt her! "Carter," Zeke places his hand on my shoulder. "... Maybe we should take a break. You look like your about to explode." We head to the cafeteria and get some food. As we sit down he asks me "Who is that guy?" "I have no idea! I can't see his face. I'm just gonna push her in the chasm it's the only logical plan at this point." He chuckles. "That's murder." "A murder that I'm doing society a favor for doing." I say. "Carter your dad has to have seen by now! He works in the control room for God's sake! "You act like he pays attention." I said. "I'm sure he does." "Obviously Not!!" I yell. "Okay, okay. Calm down." He tells me. "Don't tell me to calm down! What the hell does she think she's doing?!" I continue. "We can't tell him, if he doesn't know." Right when that was said I heard "Tell who what?" Dad asks. I cringe. "Umm... The umm... Cook! This isn't his best work." Zeke says rubbing the back of his neck. "You're a bad liar." He says. "Tell me what's really going on." He demands. "It's nothing." I say trying to keep my voice steady. "I still don't believe you. It doesn't matter. I'm working double today. I'm training someone. I'll be home a little late. Bye guys." He says kissing my head. I stare at Zeke. "You're a terrible liar!" I yell. "You try lying to your scary ass dad!" He says.
"I just did!" I yell. "Oh my god. I lied to my dad! My best friend! We have to tell him! Come on!" I start to panic. "No Carter." He says yanking me back down. "We have to figure out who that is." He tells me. "Fine." I tell him. "I don't like this." "You were just with me 2 minutes ago!" He tells me. "But then I lied to him." I say sadly. "Carter it's going to be fine. I promise." He tells me. We began walking again. We look everywhere. "Why can't be find them?" I say getting tired. "I need to sit down."
We sit. "Carter are you okay?" He asks? "My legs hurt and my back hurts everything is hurting!" I say. "Shh.. It's okay." He wraps his arm around me and I lay my head on his shoulder. We sit there for a little while before we continue walking. "We still haven't even found them!" I complain. "Looking for me Carter?" A voice asks. A way too familiar voice. I began breathing heavy. I turn around slowly.
"Ashton?"
