"What the hell?" I exclaim. "Carter, calm down." he tells me. "Calm down? Calm down! You're getting married, and she tells me!" "I was gonna tell you, now stop yelling!" he whispers harshly at me. I sit back down. "When did this happen?!" I exclaim. "5 days ago. Isn't this exciting?" She says excited. "Oh yeah, so exciting." Letting sarcasm slip in my voice. "Come on Carter don't be that way." Dad says. "What about the apartment?" I ask. "What about it? We can get a bigger one. Or the one we have is just fine." He says grabbing my hand. I pull away putting it under my chin. "Or I could always move out." I say as if it's nothing. "Carter no. Hell no. We a team, remember? You can't quit on me." "What if you quit on me?" "Carter. You know that would never happen. No matter what happens between me and her. Me and you have been a team for the past 16 years no matter what, and look your adding a baby. No matter what." I wipe tears from my eyes. "I'm not crying. I'm pregnant. I'm a mess." He chuckles. "I think I'm gonna go see Zeke. Can I go?" I ask. "Yeah, I'll see you when you get home." I get up kiss his cheek and walk out.

TOBIAS POV.
"What was her problem?" Alice asks. "What?" "I mean I think she kinda flipped out for no reason. I love you I don't get her big deal." She says. "Don't say that. She's never had a mom. I'm all she had me and Zeke and her friend that left her! You don't know Carter you can't say stuff like that." I tell her. "I'm just saying." "Well how about you don't say that. I'm going to the apartment. We'll talk later." She kisses my cheek and I walk out.

BACK TO CARTER'S POV. (I just had to add that little scene.;) )
I knock on Zeke's door.
"Hey duck." He chirps as he answers the door. "Duck?" "I'm tying." I giggle. "How's my girl? And little baby in there?" He asks poking my stomach. "We're good. I feel big, but good." "Your not even really big." I roll my eyes. "Still feel it. Did you know dad and that girl are engaged?" I say. "Alice? Yeah..." "What's wrong?" I ask. "I don't know. She gives me mixed feelings." "I feel she's too upbeat for me." I say. "Maybe your too lazy?" He suggested. "Maybe I'll do whatever I want." I say. "I figured." "We should go back to my apartment. I'm sure dad wants to see you." "Yeah I'll go. Haven't seen the little bitch in a few days." We walk out and he puts his arm around my shoulder. Then I start feeling dizzy. We get back to the apartment, and dad and Zeke greet each other. Then I feel a sharp pain. I fall to the floor. "Carter!" They yell before everything goes black.
