A/N: Hey guys! New story, Hope you guys will like it. It's my first-ever time writing it. I read so many book's and wanted to experience how writing is like. So, here I am writing this book.

Be fearless, be fearless . . . I muttered to myself. I won't be scared, afraid or frighted.

There I was, In the middle of nothingness, no where to go, nothing to see. What was I doing here? I had no idea - I never did.

Then the background changed like the way when you switch from one channel to another.

As far as I could see, there was no exit. It was obvious that this gruesome land of horror was not intending on giving any mercy to its prisoners - me, and I was standing right in the middle of it, with a silent noise of something dripping slowly down my neck to find that it was red - it was blood.

But who's and where did it come from? I didn't know.

I began to notice noises coming from the trees ahead of the cliff. A satanic choir of never ending screams, all in the same blood curdling pitch. They didn't stop. With my mind whirling with innumerable questions, I thought of several reasons why I had come to be in this demonic place. Why was I here? Where was I?

Two people suddenly appeared out of nowhere, they had a mask on and they were wearing all black and I could only see their eyes. One had feminine eyes, they were black as coal - so black that I could make out my reflection in them, and from the way that person was moving, I could tell she was a girl. She was glaring at me with heavy lidded eyes. she had that skeletal look and in her gaze my mind was robbed of emotion.

Then there was the boy, he had violet eyes and something, there was something that made me think, that I saw him before, but of course I didn't, a guy with violet eyes? I would have remembered him because those eyes were unnatural.

Something humans wouldn't have. My inner voice said, but they had to be. Everything about them was human, from those human bodies to those ey-

NO. Those eyes - the colour - they weren't human. He didn't do anything and he just stood there, it was like he didn't want to.

The masked women walked towards me, and time slowed down, pacing with her slow footsteps. She has always haunted me - in nightmares, hallucinations and even when I've been wide awake. She stopped beside me.

It was always the same. Paralysed, cold and creepy. The masked women would come closer with the knife, making sweeping movements to me. she would be closer, and closer every second. I do everything to move my arm, but it stayed still. It feels like my feet have been pinned to the floor with tons of bricks.

Instead of running, or screaming I stood more still than the statue in the heart of the darkness and just as cold. She beckoned me with fingers.

No, I said to my self, I wasn't scared, I would never be. This wasn't frightening, it wasn't scary. It was nothing, a simple illusion. I wouldn't be scared, Mother always told me not to be frighted, and if it seemed like it just believe that nothing was as it seemed, it wasn't real and even if it was, I wouldn't be scared. My hands grip tightened and knuckles whiten, and the contemplation of those knuckles-the believe that I wouldn't be scared, that I would be fearless of this fear no matter what, was a fear itself.

Suddenly, The wind howled like a hungry wild animal and it was as if the pained sighs of ghouls and tormented souls were being carried on the wind. It was so strong that

It tore her perfect mask away revealing her mouth. Her blood stained lips parted to give a smile that would freeze the bones of Death itself.

My eyes couldn't leave the horrible holes with which she searched me, blindly, yet knowingly, peering into the darkness in which I hid. I backed away slowly, my heart pumping away, as if wanting to do as much as it could, before it couldn't beat at all.

Thump... thump... thump...

My heartbeat, her footsteps, intermingled, as one.

Faster and faster, closer and closer, and then a slight pause in the beat, as I heard an ominous noise, a screeching, scraping sound of metal against metal, a sound that sent all of my five senses shivering.

I peeked out, looking into the light, looking for her, but nothing remained there. Bewildered I turned around, feeling a cold shiver run down my body, I turned around and then I saw her mad eyes, her pale face and bloody lips.

Her hands clenched the black handle of a knife, its bloodthirsty edge pointed towards me as if to deliver judgement. A tiny sliver of light pierced the darkness and I saw the blood-crusted metal wink at me before she stepped close, darkness consumed my vision...
