If I fall you will catch me?

Benches are new beginings

Jason shook her hand. Then an awkward silence settled in Jason still sitting on the bench and Piper still standing in front of Jason. "You are sitting on my bench" she said as she rocked back and forth on her heels as Jason looked at her puzzled. " it has my name on it" she said and she pointed to her name carved into the wood of the bench at the smallest letters. Jason looked out of this world sassed "This is public property..." He said slowly but the Piper pointed to the sign on the floor that said powered by the McLean Family and Jason understood that he had lost this match. Still Jason was to prideful and be wouldn't move so Piper pushed him over to the other side of the bench.  She plugged in her earbuds and started listening to her playlist. Jason immediately recognized her humming it was the Balck Eyes Peas and here he thought he was the only in the school who liked that band. So he grabbed one of her earphones and started singing along. She looked at him and smiled. Next thing you know they were rocking out on the bench to The Black Eyed Peas, then for a moment there Piper felt truly connected to one person like an ever lasting bond but as quickly as the moment came it left. There was a huge rain cloud above them and it pouring. Pipers iPod burned and Jason snatched out of her hand before she got electroshocked. "Run for that door" yelled Jason pointing to the nearest door they could find. Piper tripped as they were running to the door and landed on her left arm on a large tree root. She yelled out in pain and Jason turned around to see her clutching her arm spluttered with mud on the floor. He immediately turned back and picked her up bridal style and ran for the door. He got distracted looking at Piper, she was crying and those tears running down her cheeks that he almost tripped over a tree root. Soon enough they were inside soaked head to toe and Jason was rushing Piper to the Hospital wing. Once there Nurse Lily took Piper to her hands and led her over to a hospital bed. She pulled a medical curtain around it so no one could see what they were doing. He looked around and found a basket full of towels and grabbed one as he pulled it around him. Shivering from the cold Jason started to head back to his dorm. But before he did that he consulted Nurse Lily on Pipers condition "her arm is broken and she is just a little bit shocked from what happened she will be spending the night here but depending on how she treats bone placement procedure she may or may not be able to return to her dorm tomorrow." Jason frowned at the bone placement procedure but didn't dwell on it. On the way back to his dorm he decided to go to the showers before he returned.
~Time Lapse~
Jason couldn't sleep at night he couldn't help but be worried about Piper. Dam he thought this girl makes him do things he has never dared to do before. It wasn't like Jason to just grab things from other people. But during those few moments when he and Piper were listening to the Balck Eyed Peas and singing along to the lyrics he had felt a warm connection with her. Or maybe it was the way she had smiled at him that made his mind go haywire or maybe to the core it was love.

Piper POV
~
After nurse Lily had set her bones to were they were supposed to be. She tried to sleep but miserably failed. Her mind couldn't help but think about her and Jason Grace at the bench singing along to the Black Eyed Peas. She had felt a bond between them like a feeling of joy overwhelmed by something she couldn't place her finger on. Maybe what made her mind go crazy was the way he smiled at her with that little cute scar above his lip. Or the more she thought about the less she liked the idea but it sounded accurate. Or maybe it was love that she felt for dam Jason Grace.
