I felt a constant pull on my hair, and with a frustrated sigh, I opened my eyes to see what was causing it-only to freeze.

My brother stood there, arms folded across his chest, a smirk playing on his lips. His eyes slowly traveled from my face to my feet, taking in our sleeping positions with clear amusement.

Following his gaze, I glanced down to find Arjun sleeping soundly on my chest, his soft snores filling the room. The blanket barely covered my stomach, leaving our tangled positions in plain sight.

"I couldn't find you beside me and thought you fell off the bed," Aditya whispered, his voice dripping with mock concern. "But turns out, you fell for this guy instead, huh?"

"It's not what you think," I hissed back, carefully trying to shift without waking Arjun.

Aditya's smirk deepened as he pulled out his phone and snapped a picture.

"Oh, this is golden," he mused, admiring the picture. "Our parents are gonna love this. Their sanskari daughter, caught red-handed."

"Aditya!" I whisper-yelled, glaring at him.

"Relax, relax," he chuckled. "I'll just keep this for future use. You never know when blackmail might come in handy."

Before I could protest, he snapped another picture, this time from a different angle.

"I mean, look at you two," he teased, stifling a laugh. "Newly married, yet you're already treating him like a teddy bear. Arjun, my man, I didn't know you were this clingy."

I threw a pillow at him, but he dodged effortlessly, still grinning.

"Oh, don't worry, bhaiya will make sure this moment lives forever," he continued dramatically. "Maybe I'll even get it framed for your anniversary gift."

I buried my face in my hands, groaning. There was no escaping my brother's endless teasing now.

"If His Royal Highness is done with his endless teasing, maybe he could actually help me get up without waking this one," I huffed, shooting Aditya an exasperated glare.

Aditya placed a dramatic hand over his chest. "Ah, my dear sister, actually asking for my assistance? A historic moment indeed! But worry not, for I, your ever-so-helpful brother, shall heroically rescue you from your overly clingy husband."

Rolling my eyes, I gestured for him to hurry up. He crouched beside the bed, rubbing his hands together like a detective about to crack a case. "Alright, on the count of three, we lift. One... Two-"

Just as he grabbed my arms, Arjun shifted, mumbling something incoherent before burrowing deeper into my chest, his grip tightening like a stubborn toddler hugging his favorite pillow.

Aditya let out a low whistle. "Wow. He's got a death grip on you."

"Aditya, do something!" I whisper-yelled, trying to pry Arjun's arms off.

"Okay, okay! Let's try again. I'll pull, and you-wait, no! Don't move too fast, or he'll-"

Too late. The second I tried shifting, Arjun let out a sleepy groan and yanked me right back down, wrapping himself around me.

Aditya slapped a hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter. "Sita, I think you should just accept your fate. You are now permanently attached to your husband. Congratulations."

I glared at him. "You're so useless!"

Always the helpful brother, Aditya pulled out his phone instead. Click.
